The thing is, this only happens when I have SexLab on the load order. If I launch the game without sexlab on the load order, there is no problem, be it with skse or without. I've FNIS updated, I ran it before launching the game, as well as boss, SKSE is up to date as well, just as SkyUI. I've set skyrim's exe, as well as skse_loader exe to run as administrator, I've tried deleting the steam.dll but steam builds a new one and the problem persists. I've also veryfied game cache integrity and steam downloaded the missing file. Still, the game keeps crashing. I'm getting desperate at this point, I don't know what else to do..
HanPL Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Make sure you are not missing any main esm file because if it is then the game may crash right from the start. Also you might want to check Documents > My Games > Skyrim then make copy of ini files and remove them. Star the game via launcher if it works then exit and try launching it via SKSE to see if it will work.
Hentai-chan Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Deleting steam.dll? Not a good idea. Though it should work if it's corrupted, I suppose. Crashes on load are 99% caused by missing masters. And you say that Skyrim crashes when you have activated SexLab? Check SL requirements. Make sure you're running the SKSE 1.7, and SkyUI 4.1. See if these help.
RunicGray Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Get TES5Edit. Run it - on the first window, it will show your active plugins. Click OK. Then let it run and do its thing. Once it's stopped, it will either tell you if everyone loaded okay, or if it found a master file is missing which one of your mods is dependent on - as HanPL said, that is the most common cause of before-main-menu CTD. Here's a screenshot to show you what it will look like if one of your masters is missing. The last one it tried to load before the error is your culprit. Sexlab itself is just a master - its only master is Skyrim.esm. Do you have any other SexLab mods enabled that might have other masters than SL framework? I'm also going to take it your Skyrim is fully patched and up-to-date, as you verify it through Steam and it would auto-update - is this correct?
b3lisario Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Delete Data\SKSE\Plugins\StorageUtil.save and try again. If this fixes the issue, it is a known bug of StorageUtil SKSE plugin that's included in SL. In order to troubleshoot the bug, please post your load order and describe what was your char doing during the CTD that preceded the problem.
Ashkandii Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 the title of this thread is what i feel everytime i die in league or wow because my team-mates dont do anything, i always threat them like, "IM GOING TO DROPKICK YOUR FACE OFF IF "YOU DONT HELP" or "holy shit your absolute retard, why do i even bother coming near you" the rare bunch get the "i cant be bothered for this cuntard" (retard and cunt mixed) but yeah i feel the same way when i CTD on skyrim i've had it so much read my signature lol, CTDs and low fps just irritate me so hard why i play not so intense games like wow league cuz i get a decent 30fps
gvman3670 Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 We don't know what all you have installed or anything. How can we help you? Have you got the newest SKSE with the mempatch enabled? Do you have orphaned scripts running in your saves? Missing files or you need to update some (some SL mods require SKSE 1.7 only and won't work with 1.6.X)? What are your machine's specs and have you optimized everything for performance? There are lots of reasons for this to be happening.
Killikrates~2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 I've found switching to Mod Organizer, setting up a base profile with the STEP guide's Core mods, and then creating new profiles with the mods I want to try out has saved my computer from meeting the wall at speed.

Some mod is doing this you have to manually one by one remove and apply the mods again untill you discover which mod it is. I had new install 200 mods installed and a sound mod plus a lumani moth moth crashed for me i removed then and no crash anymore all runs smooth only those 2 crashed i try find fixes patches cmpatibillity but seems none. Those other problems you think it was are not the cause. So this problem you have i'll bet 99% what cause your crashes.

And see if you did not miss installing any important parts. But seriously if the game won't even reach your main menu then you are missing a main file please check install procedure for sexlab before smashing your pc against a wall because then there is no turning back. Check pacificly mod descriptions some mods require others mods to work right. Especially sexlab mods many depend on another mod to work right. Also make sure your not using any mod that require DLC even though you have no DLC this is sure way of crashing your game before the main menu pops up. Also post your load order people here can see what you are missing and can help further along the road.

Unfortunately I can't give you any feedback at the moment since my computer died yesterday, a couple of hours after submitting this thread: the screen went black and now every time I connect the charger to the computer the charger's light goes off. I've tried another charger and the same thing happens. Worst case scenario the motherboard is kaput, according to both what I've read online and the guy at the computer repair shop told me.. So yeah, yesterday was a bad day..
