I'm gonna get flamed and fine what ever, but I despise anime for the most part. It's overrated to the point it stopped being cute to me many years ago. I look at anime like I look at this band and bands that resemble to this as a phase. Not memorable.

 

Evil and cute like The Birthday Massacre is memorable. This seems like something a 12 year old girl would listen to.

There are also people like me. I'm extremely picky when it comes to anime.. I can't stand all this cute/chibi/funny/harem/whatevercrap shit in animes.

 

I mostly look for rather adult oriented animes. And i'm not talking about Hentai, mind you.

Seriously, it inspires some hatred of cutesy anime with the high pitched voices.  I hate J-pop for that reason alone.  Sort of how I hate how Japanese women sound in porn. I have to mute it.

I like it. But I spent a small chunk of my life living in Japan and it beats the shit out of most of the bands I had seen. No, it will never replace the Birthday Massacre, but it's nice to get a little variety from time to time.

 

Now I'm going to listen to some Boccherini in atonement.

Yeah i stumble upon it every once in a while on youtube and stare blankly and don't realize until the video is over i sat there and watched the whole thing. Worst of all you watch one and youtube recommends another, so you say to yourself "meh, what the heck" watch it, and before you know it your humming the music at work oblivious it's wormed it's way into your very soul and there's no escape. 

 

How do you think I got into My Little Pony.  One little brony video out of curiosity(may have been "My Little Pony: Cupcakes"[blood dripping from the name]), and maybe a month later, I can't get enough of the show itself.

FA is really an awesome band, but unfortunately I'm not a big fan of Labyrinth. The orchestra stuff is just to much on this album.

To me, Agony is such a better album. Better sound, and the songs aren't drowned in orchestra arrangement.

They are there, in the background, always scraping your spine, but the metal sound is still the main focus.
