rusty corkscrew Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 Skyrim was working perfectly fine. Then, I updated SKSE (I think you know why, huehueheuhuehue) and now it crashes on startup. Everything is set to run as admin, I disabled all the mods. I tried installing it initially by simply extracting the contents of the archive into the skyrim directory, when it failed after doing that tried the installer, still no dice. Are there any things I might be able to look into to fix this? Thanks. Edit: Fixed it. Seems that it was the HDT skse plugins that were causing it. If anyone has the same problems I did, check your plugins folder.

They should be fine together. If you want to remove it, that shouldn't cause a problem either, it's just a SKSE plugin (delete it, or uncheck its box in Mod Organizer - which you should be using).
Uriel Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 I have all HDT stuff installed, and all of it works fine with SKSE 1.7.0.

Budroi Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Try 1280. (1024 + 256) Anything more than that will most likely result in clamping. Although with 3g of vid mem clamping will probably not have negative effect.
