rylasasin Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Is there a patch that patches the two together? I could have sworn there was some sort of patch at some point but I can't find it. I like Submit's features (specifically, the ability to take captured bandits to the guards for a bounty) but I like Defeat's capture system much more (it's much more reliable in my experience)
Shadowhawk827 Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 No patch that I know of. There's a submit + devious devices patch. Also another version that includes followers in the mix (ss+ss+ff) so they get tied up & such also.
D_ManXX2 Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 There was never a patch for submit and defeat. you just have to have to know what options to use from 1 one and turn off some off the other. but other then that they should already be compatible together.
Ashra XIII Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 No patch is necessary! Install them both and use the 'auto-submit' from Submit, then configure Defeat to trigger (or possibly trigger) between a health/stamina range above zero, and voila! Both work. For player aggression, you can use both at once by setting them to different hotkeys, though it's a bit redundant. Defeat is the only one of the two mods that handles NPC vs NPC aggression, so no over-lap there!
dashipper Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 I just disable player as a victim in Defeat. Though I am seriously considering giving Ashra's suggestion a go.
Ashra XIII Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 I'll share the exact setup I use, when not using Sanguine's Debauchery (which is rare because SD+ is awesome). Submit: Toggle auto-submit and death-proof submission on, and leave health at 0%. I turn Creature support to 2 (all eligible creatures!) and usually lower the radius to 250 to help limit crowds who might join in... but of course that's just my preference. Defeat: I set it to 'Both', so health as well as stamina will be checked to trigger the mod. I set Stamina really high, sometimes to 100% because it occurs to me that getting hit from behind should always carry the possibility of being knocked down, and health to 70% or so. Minimum health I set to 10%, so that way if I get real low Defeat won't try to kick in at the same time as Submit. I usually set the chance of Defeat triggering to 8%, as for some reason that has ended up being a happy medium for me where it triggers often enough without happening every dang fight (because remember that every hit causes a check, so even low percentages can get rolled pretty often). And that's it! Like I said, I tend to also include SD+, which I then use (Along with Death Alternative: Your Money Or Your Life) as my alternative to getting killed. Defeat also integrates with DA when it's present, so ignores it's normal settings which makes me a little sad, but I've been thinking about changing Submit into fulfilling Defeat's usual role for me since it has a similar setting to have a 'chance' to trigger instead of always triggering. Hope that inspires someone.
rylasasin Posted June 15, 2014 Author Posted June 15, 2014 I think you guys misunderstand what exactly I want here.... I don't play as females. Or when I do I don't enable rape content for players. What I really want is the ability to tie a person up with defeat (cause as I said it just works way better), then rob them with defeat, then once stripped force them to follow me (via submit) and get a bounty from them.
