Child bugs upon growing up.

Sorry for posting twice in this timespan...I'm not sure if this belongs in the Lovers section because it's Hiyoko but I didn't see anywhere else..
This issue has been going on since I installed the mod, but I never really payed much attention to it until now. I recently had a child with Hiyoko and I've grown fond of her and would hate to delete her, but now that she's grown up ( and this only happens when they grow up ) she's literally headless. Also upon initating dialogue, she just gives me the "I HAVE NO GREETING".
Another thing is that her textures don't look very feminine. She somehow aquired male hands and feet and darker skin.
I figure it's something wrong with whatever race she is but I don't even know how to find that out. Missing meshes or textures?

http://www.loverslab.com/topic/23-quick-installation-guide/ sample load order. Do you have all required things for the Hiyoko? Invisible means missing meshes purple is pink/purple.

it seems more like it is a missing race ???   (i know it is not logic)  have you got a race that is not mark as playable (the no greetings)

i can not say more as i do not know. i never had any missing heads. it seems more related to hyokogenerator.esp  Varenne was relating about missings hyokos heads and try to find a solution in tamago threads  http://www.loverslab.com/topic/13377-tamagoclub-115c-hiyokoclub110a-stuff-eng/page-21

Alright. Now my game is crashing every time I try to save. Looks like I'll have to start over again dammit.
I installed a new version of HiyokoGenerator. I wish I could find out what race she is though so I could fix her, but not like it matters cause I have to delete it all anyway.

Pretty sure installing a new version is what killed you.  Remember that saved games contain portions of scripting and other data and when you switch something out on the fly, it can cause the whole thing to explode.  The other thing you can try is a clean save.  Unfortunately that will wipe out all the "kids" that your current game has just like a new game would.

 

Starting a new game is the safest and most reliable method when upgrading plugins.

It was crashing even before I installed the new generator. I think it was when I updated my load order, it screwed up the order of the ESM's my game was used to. Now whenever I go to load my save ( the only save I have...) it tells me something about none of the esm files being loaded and CTD.
Now I just want to find out how to prevent the headless bug ever happening in the future.

it is commun after messing with esm load order  you have to start a new game (it is often advised).

generally if you do not mess with races (removing or reinstalling or updating with new files.esp the races) the game keeps a good traking.  otherwise you have no choise than reset data in tamagoo

Change the load order when you have children it BAD !

If I add a new mod in load order between HiyokoGenerator and my race Mods the ID of the race mod is changed and my children look like the the race Mod that now have the ID of old race Mod.

e.g. if you children race Mod is the hundredth esp/esm in your load order and you add a new Mod(esp) above the race Mods your children race Mod is 101 in load order and HiyokoGenerator use for your children all he can find in the Mod 100 in your load order, if it is no race Mod you have no Body and head, if it is another race Mod you can lose parts of your Body or the texture is changed.
