New location: Times are tough for pirates. The Red Wave, ship docked in Solitude, has been repurposed as a floating brothel.

No no. Just an idea. Yesterday i look for new playerhomes and updated live a another live and start a new char. Sorry if there was a misunderstanding.

 

Meanwhile i have an idea for a new mod

Build up a travelling brothel with a start like "Gypsy Eyes Caravan" to a swimming brothel with travelsystem like "The Okaazah". And quest to hire people, ownership of the homes etc..

I just visited the milking farm and I regret to inform you that the 'cows' in my game are also glowing blue :(

 

Did you try resurrecting them in the console?

Looking through the lines as requested... you should alter the M'aiq lines to that instead of saying "I", they say "M'aiq".  M'aiq the Liar always refers to himself in third-person in his dialogue.

 

EDIT: I wonder if some of the conditions I'm seeing aren't working.  One of the lines, "Know that there are Ancient Gods..." looks like it has a condition saying you only get that if you're in Rorikstead?  In my in-game test, I did get that line, from Fiona at the Red Wave's dock outside.  All of my story testing occurred with there (so I was really appreciative of her beauty).

I tried resurrecting the cows, they flickered for a moment, but then, back to blue.

 

I went on with things a bit though and found that when I equipped the milking harness it didn't show up visually... inventory showed it in the list, but there was no image. I could see the one on the ground, could pick it up and equip it, but no visuals, and it seemed to disappear when I tried dropping it. Don't know if it's related or not, but thought I'd mention it.

Yes, multiple times. No dice.

 

On the plus side, the console lists their race as "divine cow", and there is certainly something out of this earth about this glowing skin coloration ;)

Topic xx0193FF, "Did you hear Boethia is blessing...", you forgot the H on the end of Boethiah's name.

 

Topic xx019401, "Horker Tusks and bear claws..." triggered with Fiona, when the condition implies someone has to be a part of the apothecary faction?  I'm not sure how these conditions work still.

 

Topics xx019405 and xx019506, "Did you know some women make extra coin..." ends "as milk maid." in the first line, when it should be plural.

 

Topic xx019412, "You want to know the real reason...", line 3 is incomplete.

I have to say I really like what you did with the Red Wave. I'm looking forward to quests that let the DB work there.

A note on the Red Wave:

 

I like it too. Though, I couldn't get anyone there to take my character as a slave via dialog which, you'd think they would happily do, and set her to work, but... this is just self-servingness...

 

also, when Dorian and Eris returned to the ship from the inn, he went into full "You're not supposed to be here, you have to go now." trespasser mode. On deck was fine, I didn't hang around to see if he'd actually attack, just thought I should post a note about this

Spooky glowing blue cow fun here too, tried resurrect but it didn't seem to effect either of them, using unpb and milkdrinkers skin if it's at all helpful in guessing why. For now i'm just gonna start calling them wispMoothers.

Whenever I talk to the Chaurus lady north of Morthal, I just get hit in the face with a poison ball. Is that all there is for now?

 

I also have the blue cow issue, but that's no big deal.

Yeah, that's scripted to happen.  If you have Estrus Chaurus, you'll get that interaction to go with it.  Otherwise, what you see is what you get.

It's a pretty cool idea, this mod only having soft dependencies so you don't have to install a script-heavy mod like Estrus Chaurus if you don't want it... but of course then you are teased with a scene like the Brood Mother and are left wanting when there's no payoff at the end. ^_^

I checked the .bsa file and the mod in the editor - everything seems ot be in place.

 

I don't know why the skin would appear purple (that's usually a sign of missing textures but they are all there).

 

I will keep looking but at this point, I don't know what to do to fix it.

hi I can not find the brood maiden anywhere can someone post a scene shot of the map where she is?

 

It is directly south of the abandoned shack used in the dark brotherhood quest.

I was wondering if you were going to merge all the mods you made into one big one. Also for the broodmother quest line have a look at the Estus Charus + they been coming up with some interesting ideas in that thread. It would be great when the broodmother spits on you, you pass out and awaken in a cave deep underground where other women are kept as breeders for the charus and either try to escape or slowly become a broodmother your self.

How goes fixing the rumor dialogues?

 

It's progressing. 

 

I will release an update once I have enough fixes (and once LL has fixed current issues with file uploads).

 

Nice to see someone adding some quest depth to mods rather than just sex.

 

I was wondering if you were going to merge all the mods you made into one big one. Sorry... no big mod on the horizon. That would be near impossible at this point.

 

What I am doing is building more bridges between my mods so that they feel like parts of a whole.

 

Good idea for the brood mother.

 

I don't want to recreate a new EC mod but it should be easy to make you pass out and wake up in a breeding pen, surrounded by chaurus.

If EC is installed, that will nearly garantee a pregnancy.

If EC is not installed, you will have to fight your way out.

 

I will add that to the list.

Have you thought of restricting the rumors to appropriate places, though? For instance, I talked to a guy in Eastmarch who was talking about Andurs in Whiterun. How would he know about Andurs? Why would he even care?

Something along the lines of standard barkeep (or city guard) rumors - i.e. a city guard might tell you to stay away from a particular location, but only if that location is in the current hold...

I did apply location based restrictions but I have a feeling they don't work as I expected. I will have to look into that.

Also could some soft dependencies be used to detect the presence of relevant modifications for specific rumours. In other words if a specific modification (esp/esm) is not installed and active on a system; then don't give the relevant rumours. To speed up for the checking how about doing it during an initialisation event which could also check for other modifcations which enable events in the modification.
