Fallout NV DLC

So, are there any mods that alter the bodies of any of the dlc npcs? I tried hitting it off with an npc from honest hearts but, she was still wearing her lingerie.

Your question makes me want to take my head off, put it on the ground, and then stand on it.  I think this is some leftover image from Alice in Wonderland.

I would think that the replacers affect all game NPCs.  Her lingerie is possibly on a "leave on during sex" list...maybe, but generally, either you set that yourself with Clothing Eval or a mod sets it for some specific reason (prostitute outfits for a faction).

Post you mod load order under a spoiler and say how you were trying to initiate, if you know which mod it was (e.g., Sexout Sex via dialogue).

EDIT:  I was thinking that it was the colonial-looking bird, but it's no other than the Cheshire Cat himself!

That's what happens when the default skin textures are applied to Type 3 NPCs. Get Type 3 textures for the DLC races, this isn't hard to find on Nexus.

Eh, I was initiating it via sexout. Load order probably isn't necessary since this may be just a texture issue. I mean, don't raiders and npcs like them have separate folders for textures?

EDIT: Difficulty finding replacer mods. Only see player/base game replacers so far...

Oddly enough randompeep there really aren't that many 'fitting' type3 tribal style conversions.

I myself run TTW so I've had to find two different, believable tribal replacers. One for HH and one for PL.

You'll have to just have a thorough search around on the nexus. Be warned though the best I myself could come up with was a heavily tattooed female for the PL pothead fem tribals, and some well 'not bad' tribally decorated HH replacers.

It IS quite odd that none of the really big name body artists for FO3/FNV have never actually bothered with the DLC tribals.

There is however a really nice infected replacer to be found for the pitt females on the FO3 nexus. (for any TTW users reading this)

Sorry I don't.

Stuff like that I generally merge together into large 'packs' for faster re-installation should something go wrong with my data at a later date.

They were all found on the nexus though, just have a look around the models and textures categories for FO3 and FNV.

DLC npcs like tribals etc are usually different races, with different body nifs and textures than the vanilla standard races.

If you look at the race data in FNVEdit, you'll find the filepaths for those nifs and textures under "body data" (male/female). Create a folder according to that directory structure, and park the nifs and textures from whichever body/beauty mod you'd like there, rename them to suit the body data. Boom. You've made your very first private race mod.

That's not the issue though Doc, well not for me at least.

I already know how to do all that, changing file paths etc. Even changing a filepath 'inside' nifs to point at different textures.

The problem comes when you try to FIND a suitable nude texture for the PL/HH tribals.

Making the tribals naked isn't hard. Making them naked and actually still look similar to how they were originally, painted/tattooed etc is the hard part.

Well thank you all for your helpful replies. I have a body installed for the tribal races (with tatoos), though they have no bnb sadly. Oh well.

All you need to do is put a bnb enabled nif in the folder containing your current tribal (or whatevever custom race you want to add bounce to's) 'upperbodyfemale' nif.

As long as you use the correct texture for the bnb body it should work fine.

BnB enabled type 3 needs a type 3 texture, alice for alice, type 6 for type 6 etc etc.

I have bounce enabled for almost every female npc in my game. Although it's not as noticeable on certain npc's. Delilah companion mod for instance, all you have to do is find a type 3 alice bounce enabled nif and put it into the correct folder. Her little boobies don't jiggle much though...

If you're using type n bnb then you don't need to do anything, it's already bounce enabled...

What I'm saying is, in order to make an npc that isn't using the default folder for their uppbody.nif bounce. (So they aren't currently bouncing) You just have to check which body type they are, then find the appropriate bouncing mesh and drop it in OVER their existing upperbody.nif, click yes to overwrite and jobs done.

The good thing is almost all of the body types can be found on LL with a bouncing variant.
