...0... Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 N64 released in 1996 with Mario 3D at the time everybody was super excited mario in 3D. Goldeneye-Perfect Dark, Zelda:OoT, Jet force gimini or Conquers Bad furday and many more. A guy made a HANDHELD of N64 be amazed! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzeetRwrc7w Seems you can play for 4 hours before battery's die.
woodenstick Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 That's great for single player games like zelda, but what made N64 great for me was playing with friends. Multiplayer heavy games like goldeneye, conker's, the original smash bros, and mario party were my childhood Seriously that was my favorite part of gaming, is the shits and giggles shared with friends. And I hate how online gaming is ruining that these days, no devs think about split screen or offline co-op anymore... Plus with emulators these days and so many electronics going portable + cellphones being more than phones, you could always just emulate (though it wouldn't feel the same without those awesome N64 controllers)

Bought Nintendo 3DS specially for Zelda:OoT
Darkening Demise Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Pokemon Stadium 1 & 2 Super Mario 64 (A revolution) Zelda Ocarina of Time (First 3D Zelda) Jet Force Gemeni Goldeneye 007 Chameleon Twist Mario Kart 64 Mario Part 1 & 2 & 3 Castlevania 64 (my first of the series which I prefer the most to this day) Harvest Moon 64 Kirby 64 The Crystal Shards (my first Kirby game and I prefer to this day, dammit Nintendo make a remake for 3DS like Star Fox and Zelda ya did come on!) Rugrats in Paris: The Movie (a childhood favorite animated series of course I had to have the games) Star Fox 64 Turok 2: Seeds of Evil (was a child and too scared to play, even multiplayer with my aunt we were scared of the dinosaurs appearing and attacking us) Those were my games I played and owned at one time.
Spectre_15 Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Majoras Mask - hands-down best N64 game of all time.
Cynical Misanthrope Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Funny. I saw my old N64 a few days ago. I never owned that many games to it thou. Super Mario 64, Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Goldeneye 007, a few Wrestling games, and some other fighting games as well. And a few Star Wars games. Great times. Great times.
Guest Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 I spent many many hours on Tetrisphere. I also had the CD unit that the N64 sat on top of...I think it was called the V64? Good memories...
LordBBW Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 N64 was the shit i remember playing super mario 64, man those were the days even though i was only like 3 lol
Spectre_15 Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 I got the GBA Pokemon Puzzle League just to practice to beat my neighbor. Oh, the times.
Phelps1247 Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Know what was great? Blast Corps. I think that was the name of it anyway. The whole point was just to destroy the levels. Often with giant robots. I forget if it was by Rare or Rockstar.

Multiplayer was the shit in that game, the monkey tag mode had my friend and I in stitches at one point, can't remember what was so funny but I definitely have great memories from that game.
...0... Posted April 13, 2014 Author Posted April 13, 2014 Played alot of Golden Eye, Perfect Dark Jet Force Gimini and Zelda Ocarina of Time. Then came my Dreamcast and stopped with N64
Jexsam Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 How in the blazing hell has no one mentioned SUPER SMAAAAAASH BROS.!!!!
Angrybird Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 The other day I discovered that I still have another world to do in Diddy Kong Racing, someday.
Spectre_15 Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 I just checked out the video, and I need to know how in the fuck I can get my hands on one of these. I legit jizzed when I saw Majora's Mask on a handheld. There are so many great games for N64, and I still have mine. If I can take it with me and play without lugging around the whole machine, just shut up and take my money.
