why was the file taken down on nexus?

I too would like to know the drama behind this. Really just for curiosity's sake.

Well someone mentioned in the comments section that the race was originally from NC and alex doesn't have permission to upload it in nexus. I think his user name was burmouse or something :dodgy:. I pm'ed alex about it and told him he's better off updating this thread.

Why people are so greedy? I know is them job and they can do anything they want with it... but this is ridiculous!

This is the last thing I want to say, but It looks like they are so proud of themselves for telling softly... I hope I'm wrong

Could someone inform me how to remove all the racial skills/buffs that the evy race gets ? It's quite overpowered.

Or provide me with an esp stripped of these powers if you feel like it :D

As far as I know that some people have solved the tone problem of the body:

Here are two of the articles about it:

http://www.moderteam.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=16123&extra=page%3D1

http://www.moderteam.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=16170&extra=page%3D1

Sorry it's chinese. :s

However I found the skin tone will be too pale for me with his solution, so I didn't take it.

If you need any help about translation,PM me please.

hmm, i don't know what I'm doing wrong T_T

i downloaded all the files and installed them correctly.. but when i make a new character and select the Evy race her head is totally invisible, and her body is bright purple, with a ponytail floating in the air XD;;

any help would be appreciated ;3; this is definitely the cutest race i've seen so far~ I'd love to be able to use it

this is all pretty nice, but I can't seem to get the body skin to match the head skin. does anybody know what textures or maybe other things should I use? first of all I mean glossiness that inherent in all indie races. i tried glossmax but it didn't help.

I use F-INev skinset & Improved Facial Textures for my Imperial races, then I overwrite my orc and Elven races using Ozmo's High Res Skin Textures. I pick an oiled lvl that matches the skins.

I have a pretty good head/body match on iEvy, and the variety of skin tones and textures gives the NPCs a bit of uniqueness.

I'll repost this from a few pages ago.

you can try these textures by romualda5.

The face textures are named differently. You have to rename the evyface.dds and evyface_n.dds textures to head.dds and head_n.dds to match the ones in the evy folder, I would back up the old textures before you do this just in case you don't like the textures.

Is there a non-omod version? I do not like that big omod sitting in the obmm folder and watching everything from the data disappear if I delete it.

You can unpack the omod with the OBMM and install it manually.

Yeah, I do that, then remove the omod and the data files go poof, when I open up the obmm.

Unpack the omod anywhere you want but NOT in your Oblivion folder -> remove the actual omod in OBMM -> copy the unpacked content from the omod in your Oblivion data folder.

For those having trouble viewing the race because it is invisible, are you using Nexus Mod Manager and not Oblivion Mod Manager? It was invisible for me as well at first when I tried to use it with NMM, but then I downloaded OBMM. I loaded the file with it and now I can view and create an Evy just fine. I hope that aids anyone that has this particular problem. :)

Can someone tell me how to edit this race ability and attribute and skill? It seem too imba for me XD. The race have instant death spell and insane restoration spell and can breathing/walking on water @.@

I tried to make Evy companions for someone without realizing this race had a "kill all" spell. Oh, look - bandits! Kaboom! Oops, everyone dies. Reload save game...

I don't have the mod anymore, but I think I just duplicated the race and deleted the idiotic joke spells.

I think one of the Evy spells is actually called a "joke" spell. I don't have the race anymore, so I'm not sure. They make lousy companions, though - I can tell you that much.

@garcemac

Yeah, this race is totally OP.

I wish the color difference between the head and body could be fixed : /

Tried various fix from modderteam, but the skin become so white or yellow, not very nice.
