Ryu Gabriev Posted April 14, 2014 Author Posted April 14, 2014 Ahh, simple fix. Should've given some details here, man. If it's a brand new install and the first time you try launching it you try launching from MO you won't even have a registry entry because it was never launched. Go into the normal, vanilla Skyrim launcher and start the game from there once so it makes a registry entry then you should be good to go with launching SKSE from inside of MO. Well, that worked, thankfully. Now I just need to know why Devious Devices might not be connecting properly in MO.
gvman3670 Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 Sorry, I haven't used DD so I can't comment on that. Is the mod installing properly and giving you the green "looks OK" message? Did you try adjusting the plugin load order in the right pane? Do you have all the required files/mods for it? Those would be where I'd start with any mod install honestly, but can't be more detailed without using DD myself.
Ryu Gabriev Posted April 19, 2014 Author Posted April 19, 2014 Ok, FNIS is somehow working now, but I've got one other problem. There's one mod that changes the idle animation into something really stupid (all characters do this runway turn constantly which is really annoying) and I've in the past switched it for another kind of idle animation...but with MO the normal Data folder setup has been altered somehow so that the folder I need to find isn't there anymore... WHERE is it? Never mind, I found it. And yet, somehow I've come full circle to CTDs once again. I'm using Live Another Life. And YET AGAIN, the moment I use the bed after making my selection it crashes. MO is up and running, all my applications are tied to it like they need to be, and it STILL DOESN'T WORK. Most useful mod program, my left nut. For those still wondering, I've finally set up my papyrus.0 log. But when I loaded it up I got immense gibberish and nothing resembling a load order.
Rayblue Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Papyrus logging does only report on scripts, but MO also has a log file (modorganizer.log) which allows for further investigation, of which file caused what crash. Of late, some of my CTDs involve meshes and shaders rather than scripts.
Ryu Gabriev Posted April 19, 2014 Author Posted April 19, 2014 Actually, I've since found out what was causing it. *sigh*...The devious devices mods, and all those associated with them. I just tried it with all my other mods except those...total stability. Fuck me sideways.
