I wasn't aware there was a right way to be a man.....

Of course there is ! A man is different from an asshole ! And even assholes have different ways to be assholes !

You stand up to your full length, grab life by it's throat and say "Screw you. We're doing this my way."

...Or in other words, what Mogie said above.

WITH ALL THE FORCE OF A GREAT TYPHOON

WITH ALL THE STRENGTH OF A RAGING FIRE

MYSTERIOUS AS THE DARK SIDE OF

eating farting and drinking :P

be proud

be just

never bow to anyone or anything

do not ask for respect earn respect

treat every life with respect

do what must be done without regret

guarantee with your life for every word you say

protect weak and smite bad

do not lie

do not cheat

do not steal

do not beg

wear your colors with dignity

be loyal to your family nation and homeland

think twice before you say something

think three time before you act

I learnt all about being a manly person from Jojo's Bizarre Adventures.

Interesting, maybe I should read it to see if I learn anything.

If you can keep your head when all about you

Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;

If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,

But make allowance for their doubting too:

If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,

Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,

Or being hated don't give way to hating,

And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can dream---and not make dreams your master;

If you can think---and not make thoughts your aim,

If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster

And treat those two impostors just the same:.

If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken

Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,

Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,

And stoop and build'em up with worn-out tools;

If you can make one heap of all your winnings

And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,

And lose, and start again at your beginnings,

And never breathe a word about your loss:

If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew

To serve your turn long after they are gone,

And so hold on when there is nothing in you

Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,

Or walk with Kings---nor lose the common touch,

If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,

If all men count with you, but none too much:

If you can fill the unforgiving minute

With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,

Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,

And---which is more---you'll be a Man, my son! If you can keep your head when all about you

Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;

If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,

But make allowance for their doubting too:

Tbh, I don't think there is a "written in stone"  rule, how to be a man. Everything that has been said in this thread can also be applied to Females too.

All these things is just a way to force you into a role. I would say it takes more guts to actually break free from it all, and do stuff thats not expected of you.

What if I am a man who likes to do things womans do? (same rule applies to females too, they are also forced into a role)

Or vice versa.

I know a few girls that easily could rip my head from my body and shit into my throat. Does that makes me less man? Does that make her less feminine and more man?

I think the more important question is "what does it take to be a human" which is also kinda dumb, since humans are animals too.

Do what you will, live life like you want, and just be happy. Your sex does not matter at all.

This  is how my countrymen promote Vlad Tepes,a real man. He waged war, established order & died swinging.

He is listed as #1 on lists like these '10 Monumental Malignantly Narcissistic Sociopaths'.

But the truth is that he did what was necessary. He fought the unruly with thorough sharpened hardwood 'tree-extract' enemas. It's true he used to dine in front of impaled screaming criminals. The pikes were greased & it took a very long time for the condemned to die.  The punishment was more or less the same for all crimes, including theft. But rapists or serial murderers or instance, were to be executed with a blunt pike.  He was a bit mad, but he did what he had to do.

pretty sure that was some insightful post. but, tbh, i didnt read it coz im on the best way to get fucking wasted after horrible tests this week at university, so dont feel offended if i say...

balls.

simply balls.

because, from my experience, even being the nicest guy on the planet, women need to be secured. which means, even if its against your personal nature, if any motherfucker crosses the line with your woman, punish them. hard, merciless, beat the shit outta them, maybe roast their ellbows under a lighter. sadistic? brutal? ... hm. you have to set signs. be as soft and nice as you want to your girl, but turn 180 if it is about your girl and the bitch ass world.

... well, no surprise that orcs are my first pick on tes..... quote: they wont cheat you in a trade, and they wont pick a fight with someone that cant handle it. if an orc berserker goes into a rage, going anywhere near him ... is just plain suicide.

a penis or and testicles never made a man      i have seen women with more guts than a man.

but all depends on your definition of a man       male or female ?   you know certainly the differences

but a man a real man i let you drive your imagination as it is just as subjective as it can get

Okay, so I wanted your opinion to know if I a man or not, and it seems I may be a man, or a gentleman, but not only, now is the real reason why I posted this thread :

I could have (a lot) of sex, with my gfs, with sluts, with female friends... Why didn't I do it ?

1 ) I HATE LOSING ! Yes, I'm a narcissistic winner and so I don't want to be rejected, because I know I will be rejected by some inferior person and I hate that. I know this is a problem and maybe someday I will have to do some kinda therapy but right now I'm just too overly narcissistic to do it and maybe I will never do it, and fuck you if you don't like it it's my life and I do what I want with it.

2 ) Because of this, I pay for sex. Because when you pay for it you get what you want without too many problems, and when you don't pay you have to accept you can be rejected and not get what you want, at all. I do not accept it.

It may look like some paradox, you think you are a winner because you don't pay for sex and you still have some ! Yeah ! You are a fucking winner ! You will get a fucking medal ! I may look like a loser because I pay for sex and I don't have sex when I don't pay ! Yeah ! I'm a fucking loser ! I won't get any fucking medal !

You know what ? I'm happy.  :)

Because our fucking life is just about this : being happy or not being happy.

So... I'm happy. :)

And I may be crazy, but that's another story. ;)

And a lot of people hate me for being who I am and doing or not doing what I do and what I don't. These people I ignore, because they are inferior. You are all inferior ! I'm the BEST ! YOU HEAR ME ????!!!!! I AM THE BEST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now get lost, losers ! :P

Actually it's not really the REAL reason I posted this thread, it's because I'm making some decisions involving a lot of people and what I did see is that if I do not take these decisions my life is worse, and when I do take these decisions my life is better. But it's more complicated.... Anyway, thanks to all of you guys for answering this thread. It really was interesting.
