zonzai Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Dev Aveza or Leaf Rest. I've tried almost every single house mod and these are the only ones that I keep installed.
winny257 Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 I'm not a fan of clutter, or huge elaborate mansions that add a bunch of static decoration (I guess I'm hard to please). My favorite house mod would then be Rayek's end, it's pretty centrally located between Riverwood and Whiterun, it has nice storage options and it's a pretty simple cave hideout. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/16028/? such house mods I do not use me is simply too dark. I love the light and also I want to see. it makes no fun in my house with a torch to walk around.
Herrmannesque Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 I'm really fond of the Dev Aveza but I can never get it to work right in my game...
zzz72w3r Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 A lot of house mods don't work well with ENB. They are either too dark because the author did not use ENB or the ambiance is really off because the author used something else very different. I also found that big house mods are usually impressive but not practical at all because all the cell loadings just make the mod more trouble than its worth. I have tried dozens of house mods and the only ones I keep are the ones made by Elianora, Skyview and Druid's Den (was my main house but it's a bit too dark with my current ENB Serenity).
vaeolia3 Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 hi all i search the first "zelbess and valentine clan" mod but i dont find it ( a man give an omod version of this mod but it not complete) if anyone can give me this mod I'll be happy
itt1968 Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 I love the Bathing Beauty's Mod... though not really a house mod if you add all the extras... it does have a bad habit of dropping to around 15 fps when i'm outside but the inside is stable with my rig..... I also love the cheaters tower, though it is huge... the lighting is perfect for pics and there is more storage space than anyone could ever use.
Gilibran Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 The Reserve near Rorikstead and the new one, The Reserve II near whiterun. Lakeview extended is pretty good to, make sure to also get the lakeview armory upgrade. Makes the display area a real display area. For know i use Whiterun mansion simply for the excellent storage system and outside crafting area. I have followers staying at Lakeview, Whiterun Mansion, the Reserve 1 and II so it's never empty when i get there and there's always a few hotties around to relax with after another dungeon run :-) Still looking for a nice similar house near Riften. That way i have houses convenienty spread all over Skyrim and enough room for dozens of followers. With AFT outift management they walk around in hot skimpy clothes at home but are ready in full gear if you take them with you.

I always used Rumare Castle or Domrose castle in Oblivion though. And offcourse i think it was from elricm or Canadian ice, a magnificent underwater home in Morrowind.

Gilibran Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Ty that looks good and close to what i'm looking for. I'll check it out tonight.
Guest Omega1084 Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 My current home and new favorite. Small, simple, and easy to get to. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/54491
Zenoa Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 For me http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11444/? is the best. I can show all vanilla armor on the main areas, light armor on on side, heavy armor on another, clothes on the central sides. On extra rooms mod armors categorized.Enough chests to store your stuff, one near the forge and one near the alchemy/enchat to put mats, I only miss one more to organize alchemy and enchats. You can show weapons an shields too so, all you need is here.
Shadow_Hazard Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 I've recently installed a bunch of house mods and finally getting around to choosing one to call my character's home (I never really used house mods much in previous play-throughs, and when I did I went for simple storage-dump type places). My character is a thief so I'm primarily using the Thief player home in Riften Canal by Elianora at the moment. But my favourite that I've checked out so far (and fallen in love with) are Leaf Rest by Aukmat and Riverside Lodge by Lupus. They'll be my character's getaway, or main homes after moving from Riften after he's done with the Thieves Guild. The locations for both of these homes is just perfectly chosen, especially Riverside Lodge. And they both have a hot tub for those relaxing (and sexy) evenings! The Leaf Rest's inside bath/sauna is freakin' gorgeous, and the pets are a cute addition to the place. These homes are just so functional and feel so... homely.
Sarathis Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 I just checked out the Thief Player home in Riften and I have to admit that's one amazing player home. Talk about everything included. It's a shame it's all the way over in Riften away from the rest of Skyrim but it's pretty incredible.
Shadow_Hazard Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Yeah it really is great. Nice cozy size, and good-looking storage for absolutely everything in a way that really feels like a proud thief's personal vault/showroom as well as a functional home with all the smithing/alchemy/etc. features that don't feel like they were forced into the space just to have everything there. It's a liveable walk-in treasure chest, and really quite as perfect is it could get for any thief character. Sadly it didn't last long though, as since my last post my character is ready to move onto bigger and better things. I don't want to leave the Thief home yet but it's just too far out of the way for someone with work/quests that aren't situated in Riften.
winny257 Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Hi guys!this is for me the best house mod "in general", no it's not just a house, far from it! it is a complete quest, with all the trimmings. I can not describe it, see it you simply on. Eikichi Onizuka Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 There is always Aspen Manor http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/39400/? Aspen Manor is Great! one of the best is the lovely White River Cottage http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/54479/?
Allannaa Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 My own house mod, Allannaa's Little Cottage -- because it's VERY simple and uncluttered. And I replaced ugly vanilla textures with pretty ones. And it's navmeshed correctly so that all followers, but especially Kharjo, can interact inside. And it doesn't do anything I don't want done. And it doesn't have a tonne of stuff I'll never use. (And yes, it's on the Nexus. But that was before I knew about this site and its non-adult portions)
FauxFurry Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Possibly Q's World or possibly The Evil Lair of Hydra is my favorite housing mod, the former due to its possession of all of the modern amenities where they really don't belong, giving it an other-worldly flair, the latter since it is so uncomfortably brutal(one even has to earn it through a battle to the finish against 4 high level opponents at once then the Champion of Hydra) that it wraps back around to downright cozy. Both have loads of creepy details and eerie ambiance that set them apart from most of the cheerier housing mods. They're also both very much adult oriented in contrast to many of the other households that could have easily been plucked out of the Legend of Zelda. It is Whiterun adjacent. That's a plus. A good book will take one away to another world. It has its own Aether Net connection. It's a dead end...or is it? Of course,it isn't. It even has its own physician's office. Now Skyrim needs some doctors and nurses or at least, someone to play doctor. The Bathing Beauties or Beefcake Luxury Suite and Underground Bathhouse and Paradise Valley mods do have an advantage over them with their resident customization systems, though. Without them,I'd have no place to tuck away the new followers from the Blood and Silver mod(especially the male Argonian).
Allannaa Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 omg "Aethernet connection" I laughed till I almost passed out -- that's awesome.
Killing Joke Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 I've installed Aspen Manor on one of my profiles for roleplay reason (I use it as an orphanage) but otherwise I don't use house. Owning a house is like marriage or having kids, etc. I don't play an RPG to replicate a common real life.
winny257 Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 that does not fit to skyrim, it is more for a science fiction.
