hestial Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Hallo, After fight against hundred of enemies, dragons, bosses and clearing almost all dungeons and castles of the north of Tamriel, helping in the civil war, sending people to Sovngarde and becoming champion of Daedra princes the only thing that I can do is travel around Skyrim and waiting to be attacked by a bandit and defeat her and rape her. Well, what I want to say is if there's a way to inject more fun in the game, I mean, like a mod with another long quest line or another story when you aren't the Dragonborn, something like that.
Irrational Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 There's a few mods that adds new lands with new quests such as Falskaar, Skywind. I'm not too keen on any that adds additional quest, but those are some interesting ones.
Sweatington Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Wyrmsthoot, Falskaar, Maids 2:Deception, Moonpath to ellswyr.
Uncle_Sheo Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 I addition to Falskaar http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37994/? also visit Elswyr. I promise it is fun. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9782/? and try Wyrmstooth http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25704/? You can also try a more immersive playthrough with Wet and cold http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/27563/? Frostfall http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11163/? Realistic needs http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26228/? with creature AI packs http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40491/? creature packs http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/24913/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35631/? Deadly Dragons http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/3829/? maybe even Ultimate Combat. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36006/? or this: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/30212/? if you're into achievements. There are any werewolf and vampire lord overhauls if you like that sort of thing. The possibilities are endless. Or you can do the most exciting thing of all: Visit the night mother and take a contract. Complete it, and report back.... And guess what... you get ANOTHER contract. And then another, and another and another.... Generic, random and complete unmemorable with no addition to gameplay value. Can you think of anything more ingenious?
Rayblue Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Wyrmstooth. I tried others but this is probably the most stable and adventure-filled (except for the odd script errors involving the deployable bear traps and the wisp collection).

Of course you have a problem with bear traps in general. Do not let your personal prejudice influence your opinion.
Justoutthere Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Not tried this one yet but it looks interesting. Become Jarl of Ivarstead http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51633/?
gvman3670 Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Wyrmsthoot, Falskaar, Maids 2:Deception, Moonpath to ellswyr. I've played these and would recommend them. Falskaar is the least impressive of those in my opinion, although it's not bad by any means. Wyrmstooth and Maids were the best, but I'd suggest playing Maids then when you're done removing it and reverting to a save from before adding it. It's very, very script intensive and could cause issues down the road, but it's worth playing it out. Undeath is a long, arduous journey to lichdom. Pretty cool, though. Dragon Break episodes 1 and 2 are definitely worth playing through. Good stuff!
Rayblue Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 The script problems in Wyrmstooth are the least problematic compared to other add-on worlds. Wyrmstooth. I am a nondenominational Skyrim player, and the only prejudice I have against is any form of dictatorship.
...0... Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Requiem plus Enhanced Mighty Dragons on nightmare settings. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19281/? AND read this if your are gamer that can handle this kind of hardcore gameplay. http://www.pocketplane.net/volothamp/chap10.htm

Just downloaded the achievement one looks pretty cool and it even has stuff to aim for on a fresh char (like killing a dragon before lvl 5 which could be quite challenging with a combat enhancement mod installed) which might be interesting on a fresh playthrough
crusher Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 do a play-through with difficulty set to legendary and add High Level Enemies, Duel or Deadly Combat, Enhanced Mighty Dragons 5+, Revenge of the Enemies, Enhanced Enemy AI, a couple of Ace Combat modules for greater difficulty and effect, Duel Wield Parrying, Smart Cast.... Totally different experience when you're the one not doing the raping, and when you are raped and all your gear is stolen, and left for dead, [submit/Defeat] you risk dying of cold [frostfall]. ... simple rule, one or two unprotected hits means death or submission. Once you realize the dangers you'll spend a lot more time learning new strategy. And often retreat to choose a different strategy for the battle ahead. Hint, don't start dragon quest right away, battles with dragons will be epic and seldom, sometimes taking over to an hour to win. Set all followers to 'non-essential', but gear them up, and make certain you have support for big battles ahead. You may want to add lots of 'follower' mods. I had to make my own pair of 'dragon killer' followers and they still die lots. Death is inevitable. .. and no cheating
hestial Posted March 10, 2014 Author Posted March 10, 2014 Thanks for the suggestions, I'll start to play all of them, Falskaar and Wyrmstooth looks really nice, and I'll say what crusher says, start a new game with legendary and enhanced difficult mods. The achievements mod and the jarl mod sounds cool too, I'll try them after Falskaar and Wyrmstooth. And about the idea of a mod where you are not the dragonborn, is there a mod like that? If not it would be a cool idea for a mod.
gvman3670 Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 I saw one a while back where the Alduin questline was disabled so you'd never be the dragonborn. I would think that the dragons would also be disabled then so it might kinda' suck if you want a tough playthrough.

Last Jan, i did a Master diff play thru with no armor at perma level 1 (never opened the skills menu at all) with ASIS set to that and it was killer, that was the only play thru where i've used a follower.

I meant no offense.

Nice thing about High Level Enemies -- Scaled Version: everything stays 'at level', so you're not really leveling, or leveling past anything. Everything remains dangerous. Been thinking about adding in this mod: Faster Leveling using the 10x option, to do "Shard" play-throughs, where lots will happen with only a few nights of game-play. [or just use and change .ini of Skyrim UnCapper to add more perks per level, faster leveling etc.] This setup is for trying out new mod builds, where you'll need to start a fresh game, but allows you to do a large quest-line, or several, or specific areas of skyrim due to the quick gain of perk points; level dependent quests also unlock faster. I really hate levels, so I try to make them irrelevant, but maintain a good measure of pc growth. Very similar to GuildWars Original as 'horizontal progress', I may do a S.T.E.P Pack base on this; that describes this style of 'non-level' dependent game-play that is far more sand-box friendly than vanilla skyrim, or most rpg. It's also easy to transfer/export your character's 'look' creating a simple mod that changes the first preset in ShowRaceMenu with your own custom preset. So using Random Alternate Starts you can begin a shard play-thru in a few minutes time.
