Mod works fine on an existing save except for the problem of an invisible MCM menu. All I can see is Group A-D in there, unless that's what it's supposed to look like?

 

Yea it's supposed to look like that, the MCM menu was never completed and doesn't actually do anything, you can ignore it.

It's not you, it's your defective browser (combined with this not so wonderful forum software). Try using a different browser, that almost always works.

I had Zaz animation pack v611 but installing v70 didn't fix this. I guess in the past the textures for Zaz were downloaded separately but I think it's all in one now. Where in the Slave Girls forum I got the apparently erroneous idea this would fix my Slave Girls missing texture issue:
"The DD's have a blue/purple look to them instead of how the devices are supposed to look."
Answer: "I assume by DD's you mean the restraints the slaves wear? These aren't Devious Devices, they're from the ZaZ Animation Pack, and it sounds like you haven't downloaded and installed the textures from there. For the full updated ZaZ Pack you need the Main file, the Textures and the Patch to overwrite the first two."

It *probably* is, or at least only will have minor issues like maybe some floating placed items here and there. This mod places a lot of things and decorations all over the game world, not just its NPCs.

 

For the record, I haven't actually used the Dawn of Skyrim mod myself yet, but I'm using ETaC which does more or less the same thing in a slightly different style. If you want to make sure, load both mods in Tes5Edit and then use it's "filter for conflicts" option. This will compare both mods and show you a complete list of each and every conflicting record they both have. Even if you like me don't understand what most of these records do, it can already help to determine if there are "many", "some", or "no" conflicts.

You seem to be missing ZAZ textures, this mod only adds a very small amount of misc items (glasses/ornaments ect).

 

You can probably confirm if this is the problem by typing "coc zbftestzone" into the console.  This will take you to the ZaZ test cell where there are chests with every item from that mod.  If they are purple, for some reason the textures are not installed properly.

You may need a older version of Zaz than you currently have installed. I believe that I'm still running Zaz 6.21 (6 dot something at any rate) and there are no missing textures. Honestly I don't use this mod all that much any more as there have been no updates in nearly (more than?) a year.

I started a new game and all the textures are working. I saw several times some weren't working without the textures/Zaz folder being manually installed into my game folder. But it's working now.  I don't get why an old save would do that but anyway.

@Reesewow,     Thank you. Going to the Zaz test cell ("coc zbftestzone" in the console) shows several items with purple missing textures. So it must be Zaz. I tried rolling back to Zaz v6-11 and the same purple missing textures happens as with v7-0. I'm using MO.

I manually installed the bondage and Zaz folders from Zaz animation pack's texture folder and it fixed the issue (I'm not sure if both were needed). I guess something is happening with MO for some reason. Nice to find a workaround at least even if I'd rather not manually install the textures.

I am having a CTD issue that only occurs when I enable Hydra Slave Girls.

 

Consider the following example:

• Start new game with Alternate Start - Live Another Life
• Begin life as a patron of an in (Falkreath)
• Explore around the inn just fine, everything great.
• Exit to Skyrim.
• If I remain outside in Skyrim for too long, then I will get a CTD.
• Rush over to Jarl's longhouse before CTD.
• Goof around inside the longhouse for indefinite amount of time.
• Exit to Skyrim. After 20-130 seconds, there will be a CTD.
• Suppose instead you make it back to Dead Man's Drink in time. You can goof around in there indefinitely.
• Exit to Skyrim. After some random amount of time, there will be CTD.
• Enter Falkreath  guard quarters. You can stay in there any amount of time.
• Enter Falkreath Jail. Will CTD at some random point within about 2 minutes

As described, this only happens with Hydra Slave girls enabled, and happens regardless of existing character or completely new character.

 

I always ensure SexLab is installed before going anywhere.

 

After the CTD (even if it is very many seconds after the latest  save), trying to load the latest save will CTD instantly.

 

Memory usage never goes above 850 MB, and CPU usage is ~10%.

 

Papyrus logs indicate nothing useful, just SL Aroused Redux doing it's thing, which works perfectly fine in safe cells and also without Hydra Slave Girls.

 

I also tried adding the Devious Framework with the Hydra 827 Patch, but this has made no difference.

 

I have Frostfall, and enabled or disabled makes no difference.

 

Any ideas? If anyone recognizes a smell but needs more information (e.g. load order, full mod list), just let me know.

First time for Lovers Lab Loaded Skyrim  the load order with Loot will definitely help.  Be sure that FNIS and all requirements are installed properly.  I see people always talk like reloading everything which with proper tools never seems necessary to me. 

 

I find that when loading new mods, or updating mods, that sometimes it takes a few minutes or longer to hit a requirement that will crash.  I had a big one with updating all DDA, DDI, and DDX the other day that took a long time for me to figure out.  It was a version of Racemenu.  Versions can cause crashes.

Additional notes:

• LOOT and FNIS is practiced on any new mod install
• I also practice the restart after setup ritual (in Live another Live abandoned dungeon before going to sleep, and after long minutes of stuff continuously loading + install SL and animations)
• Everything is downloaded fresh from within the last week or so. This doesn't guarantee version compatability, but is worth noting.
• Gender Specific Strength is a small mod I made (have not published) that adds one spell to every humanoid default race. I noticed it conflicted with RSChildren, which load order fixed, but I'm uncertain it could affect Slave Girls to the point of CTD.
• The only other mod I've had major trouble with is SexLab Romance that had obvious errors showing up in its papyrus logs. I'm not as concerned about getting that one to work though. So far all the other mod testing is going amazingly smooth, the community talent and dedication here is really impressive.
• I beleive I figured out the problem with CTD on loading saves, and the fix is this mod. It doesn't seem related to the CTDs mid-session though.
• No uncanny script logs for Slave Girls CTD, just regular old SL Aroused Redux (and now also Devious Framework) doing it's thing

Hi, my guess would be that you are attempting to run too many performance hungry mods at the same time and the Papyrus engine can't cope with the demand. Your load order is very long and contains far more "high impact" mods than I would ever attempt to run at the same time. Skyrim's scripting engine is a bit limited and can cry enough when you have many mods running that make heavy use of it (or are written poorly), even if your game is otherwise far below reaching CPU and GPU resource limits. My advice would be to go through your load order and try and remove some things.

 

Even Hydra Slaves itself could be considered as having a potentially heavy performance impact, even with the story manager bug fixed (that's what the Devious Framework patch does too, if I remember correctly). It just adds so many NPCs to the game world that other mods can then do their thing with, particularly in combination with SL Aroused all the naked slaves alone mean a fair bit of extra work for the game.

Anyone having issues with the NPCs not having any dialogue? Like my character will ask them questions and will get no response.

Sounds like a great addition to have... I downloaded it and also have a patch for Devious Framework!

 

I'm still new to modding and have a few quick questions... What is the Textures files that are separate? Do I blend them into the mods data folder? What would happened if you didn't use them?

 

This wont change all the females in my game? Hope just the ones in the slave groups...

 

Also after installing I got a MCM menu with options A threw D

 

Sorry if this is a stupid questions but what are these options?
