Z0mBieP00Nani Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Recently I reinstalled EVERYTHING due to some kind of issue that caused my game to crash repeatedly at the title screen. Now that I have everything working properly, I reinstalled the HDT compatable version of XP32's skeleton and the CBBE body I created in bodyslide (both of which I KNOW are compatable because they worked fine before), but now for some reason every time my charicter disrobes, the game crashes... Why can't shit just WORK the first time? this is the third issue I've had in the past week,. I'm starting to think I'm cursed or something..
CGi Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 My suggestion: Get your game running w/o HDT first and if everything works add HDT support.
srayesmanll Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Also make sure that you install the skeleton last. Some mods (realistic ragdoll for instance) add their own skeleton.
Z0mBieP00Nani Posted March 4, 2014 Author Posted March 4, 2014 No dice, I removed the HDT files and it still crashes to desk top. should I uninstall all the skeletons and the body and then reinstall them? Or will that not make any difference?
Z0mBieP00Nani Posted March 4, 2014 Author Posted March 4, 2014 Also make sure that you install the skeleton last. Some mods (realistic ragdoll for instance) add their own skeleton. Hang on a sec.. I think you just reminded me of something I forgot to install, which would be realistic ragdolls and force.. UPDATE: Ragdolls and force didn't seem to make a difference either. Is there some way to get a log of why the game is crashing? Or would that even matter? If I knew how to do that I could post it here.
Wolfoftheshadows Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 I ran into this problem not to long ago and xp32's skeleton is and isn't compatible. HDT basically adds tbbp and so does xp32's. That being said it wouldn't make you crash out. I had this same probblem and the solution someone gave me that worked was if I was using racemenu, that it might be out of date and it worked. No more crashing and I use xp32's, well a version of it that lets me use HDT without any weird breast problems. I found it here on one of the LL threads. I have used just the normal xp23's skeleton with no problems though.

Just making sure... Not sure if papyrus logs would help, but couldn't hurt to enable them and see what you get. Do a search here for papyrus and you'll find (way too many) results and there should be one (actually several) that shows how to enable logging and where to find the logs. Also there is the HDT log. It's in the data/skse/plugins folder, just look for a .log file starting with HDT. If HDT is truly the culprit, then the log should show an error of some type. Have you tried using the XPMS variation skeleton from here ( http://www.loverslab.com/topic/25971-xp32-maximum-skeleton-extended/ )? I've used this one which has some HDT specific modifications that may help. Just uninstall XPMS and install this one (it is the same installation with 2 extra options: an option to select PC gender (I think it affects 1st person view, but is not required to select the specific one) and an option to select whether you use HDT physics or TBBP. Again, the XPMS skeleton from Nexus should work, but try this one and see.
Z0mBieP00Nani Posted March 4, 2014 Author Posted March 4, 2014 I started with the XPMS skeleton from the nexus and then later started using the one from here. Yes, I did reinstall the skeleton after installing RR. I'll try updating Race Menu and see if that makes any difference.

...0... Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Did you use fnis and activate all needed skeletons? If not you crash also.
Z0mBieP00Nani Posted March 4, 2014 Author Posted March 4, 2014 Yes, I ran FNIS, I even updated it, just to be sure. I tried ressarching the error code, but I didn't come up with anything that could help.
gvman3670 Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 When you ran the FNIS generator did you check the "arm fix" in it first? Usually crashing while disrobing means you have a skeleton problem. I know that I used the extended skeleton here on LL and I got crashes so I put the regular XPMS skeleton back in and it worked.
Z0mBieP00Nani Posted March 4, 2014 Author Posted March 4, 2014 Yes, I cheked the sketon fix in FNIS. I uninstalled the skeleton, and HDT, and then ran FNIS just to see what would happen, but the game still crashes every time the armor comes off.
Z0mBieP00Nani Posted March 4, 2014 Author Posted March 4, 2014 FINALLY!! I got it working properly again. I had uninstalled everything but the animations, and the game kept crashing, then I reinstalled the vanilla XPMS skeleton, made a new CBBE body in Bodyslide and installed that, then I installed Dragonfly's CBBE animations, ran FNIS and started the game and was able to disrobe the Charicter sucessfully without the game crashing, upon doing so I noticed there was something funny about the way light and shadows displayed on the body, I then remembered that I had two versions (UNP and CBBE) of a mod called "Dry Skin" and that I must have installed the wrong version, so I went back and made sure to install the right version for CBBE, I then reinstalled a normal map for the CBBE body for "mature skin textures" (since I had both UNP and CBBE versions of that as well) just to be safe. After all of that I was able to reinstal all of my old idle, run, and walk animations, and run HDT and disrobe the character without chrashing the game, lastly I was able to reinstall the version of XP32's skeleton from LL, tested that, and it worked. Thank you all for your advice!
Guest Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 dosnt old threads gets deleted? this should be saved, if the problem occurs again for another user What do you mean "save this"?

Z0mBieP00Nani Posted March 5, 2014 Author Posted March 5, 2014 Another thing I just noticed is that the pregnancy body set (Belly Big 50) seems to cause the game to crash. The only way I've been able to get this to work is with the standard TBBP body preset. So that also could have been my probem.
