Is it just me or are there others who never seem to be completely happy with their skyrim install and mod lineup until they completely bork it with the countless mods theyre constantly downloading and installing??? ahhjnsmtgn dfjvn;selgkmt nj;f;lnbs. Meh.

I have the same issue, constantly trying to improve my game, and sometimes I do to quite the extent, but I always go overboard and break it eventually xD

Huh, I have the same problem, but for some reason I can almost always get it to work again by loading an older save and then loading the current one. Strange.

Personnally i have the opposite, now i have everything working at the moment(touch wood) i've extreme reluctance to update/change any mod in case it suddenly stops working and i have to start over.

 

Even started reading update notes on mods and if they are bug fixes for bugs i'm not suffering from i'll keep the current version in case i break it

I've done it before. Installing, uninstalling, changing too many things, then eventually breaking the game and needing a reinstall. It sucks after it happens a couple times. But I found a way around that silliness.

 

It's called Mod Organizer. Yup. This way I can set up a super stable, playable game that is just awesome. Then I can also start a different game under a different MO profile and just mod the shit out that one to see what works and doesn't, what I like and don't and so on and so forth. All without effecting my other game saves and without EVER needing to reinstall the game because it's broken. Then if I like something (and it proves to be stable) in my experimental profile I can just add it to my "good" save with a simple click.
