Bumped into "Legate Rikke" bug

Annoying as fuck

Tullius sends you over and over again to talk to her and regain X place

You're supposed to start the quest with her saying "Reporting for duty"

Dialog option IS NOT FUCKING THERE and it never is       

Well the first few times it was after doing some weird shit like asking Tullius "How goes the war?" but not now, not anymore

 

Now I've no idea how to finish the fucking quest

I'd also point out that the ONLY Jarls or potential Jarls in all of Skyrim that are any good are Balgruuf who is the best Jarl there is and Elisif who is obviously young and was not yet prepared to rule, but has potential. Balgruuf's first concern is for his people. IE: immediately orders troops to Riverwood despite the objections put forth by Proventus Avenicci. Elisif showed the same type of potential when told about things happening at Wolfskull cave. But being young she mistakenly listened to Falk Firebeard. All the other Jarl's in Skyrim look out only for themselves.

 

Exactly my thoughts. Balgruuf and Elisif are the only real Jarls imo. The Jarls of Riften and Falkreath are a complete joke. They really have one thing in mind, and that is themselves. Sad part is they make it no secret that they don't care for their people. If it weren't that Ulfric is trying to crown himself as high king, he would probably make a half-decent Jarl in spite of being a racist bastard.

I have done EVERYTHING in that page

I have asked Tullius how goes the war

I have teleported the bitch to me via console

I have cooked meal in imperial camps

I have beaten the crap out if her over and over again though she's essential

I have tried to manually start the quests (still need to try more) and nothing happens

 

STILL NO FUCKING DIALOG OPTION                                                       

 

And how is it again I'm supposed to go to another imperial camp? because there is only ONE imperial camp which is the current, all other places are empty

Weird ... I haven't encountered this. Maybe your only solution is the setstage command ....

Nothing works

I checked all solutions people give on the internet on various forums

I even tried some weird ones like checking Skyrim.esm for bugs with TES5Edit

Nothing happens

 

I killed the entire camp of imperials

Didn't work but it made me feel a bit better

So Ulfric is dead and I didn't even know how

Feels like ending the game with a console command

Imagine starting game in Helgen, escape Alduin and the battle through the caves, go to Riverdale, console command "kill Alduin" main quest over and that's it.

 

To whoever it may concern: take your bugged quests and go sodomize yourselves with them

 

No, not really. I wouldn't want to offend people who dedicated their time to create the game, I'm thankful for it, and for the energy they spent on creating it, but I'm also very disappointed that this questline is so poorly done... I guess I don't know where to direct my anger for this... Maybe the Thalmor could be a good choice...

I think one of the devs was a Thalmor... It's the only explanation

The bastard probably infiltrated Bethesda, pretended to be working for the team and sabotaged the game into being buggy...

I had that Rikke dialogue option issue. I simply slept over in some of the nearby tents and the next day the dialogue options appeared.

I didn't try that...

 

I tried waiting 24 hours nearby but not exactly sleeping in a tent...

 

I also tried werewolfing in front of her, running away and talking again, even though my character is not a werewolf, but with somebody said that worked for them... nothing

 

I only have the tent option left, but I had already dropped the towel by the moment I read this, and I'd have to reload a very old save

I'm tired and just... screw it

To hell with it. I've had enough... I have to learn to accept the inevitable adversity sometimes

It's fucked and I think there's nothing I can possibly do about it

I tried my best though so I can give up honorably

 

Giving up and not trying is pathetic

Giving up after doing your best is learning to accept defeat right?
