been a long ass time since i typed here but yes its true. by the power of me and claude somehow we have mostly gotten OS to work with Starfield. Note: need more testing but with some people, mainly one, so far "it just works" decided to head here since some folks probably want to make some good "content" here and i can find more testers. also the more bugs we find the quicker ousinus can PR my fork and upload on the nexus site!!!

bump: seems to me that ousinus has merged my PR with some changes... up next is OS PR. and if everything goes well... we may be looking at BS/OS hosting on Starfield very soon... question is... who's body mod is going to be the face of BS/OS?

Thats awesome. Any decision on which body will be supported yet? I suppose SFF is the leading contender?

that or if i can get The milk drinker to get off crimson desert and make something for starfield xD... hope he can try the new update since it really does bring that bethesda travel in space...

The cruise mode is awesome. I've spent more than two entire evenings just cruising from one encounter to the next. Some encounters try to kill you before you even fully come out of cruise - had a few CTD , left a bug report on their discord. Other than that - have not had so much fun in a space ship since X-wing vs Tie Fighter.

pretty much the same. they pretty much brought the bethesda charm when traveling from one location to another but in SPAAACE!!!
pair it up with engine fixes with it "White Screen After Grav Jump" along with "Acrylic Fader Menu" its beautiful man!

Acrylic Fader Menu is awesome since it mimics eye blinking so it makes loadscreen feels more "realistic" why nobody backported this to Fo4 or skyrim i'll never know...

Awesome work! I've been letting mod authors who are active know about BodySlide and Outfit Studio on Nexus comment sections.

 

The mod author of Gergel Ebanex and some outfit mod authors have been made aware and I know one of them has actually tested it.

"This is the news the greatness of which is hard to overestimate!

I've already tested it. At least it imports and exports modded meshes without visible errors, even can mix external/internal geometries and convert between each other. Great news indeed!" 

 

I also notified the mod author of Milky Way Vixens, so that's another who's been made aware of it.

Nice work @Djlegends btw i've been lurking on milk drinkers discord is he finally about to make the best body mod? cause tbh im sick of using sff that mod looks just unreal and the proportions are off yuck!

Welp I tried asking milkdrinker and from the state of the modding scene to the game it self looks like we aren't getting an atomic beauty like body for starfield such as shame cause i was hoping by now some one would've stepped up and made a decent mod oh wells hopefully sff implements bodyslide and fixes his body mesh.

Yeah thats why i dont really wanna use sff cause idk why the mod author insist on making his files more difficult by adding unnecessary barbie doll looking mfrs on starfield but gah dang everytime i load up its just those hideous presets lol i mean no offense but he should really think about the players and sff is so damn hard to get it right.

Serpentis Body Enhanced - that's here on Loverslab

Doesn't have physics but I like that it's compatible with everything

Honestly i highly doubt advanced body comes out its been what like 2 to 3 years? and the mod author is to busy playing other games.

I appreciate this has to be way low down on the todo list, but I'm using your last released version on Linux with proton. And it can't auto detect any of the games, and if I enter the path for Starfield, when I choose "choose game" it just prompts me for the folder again.

 

Any ideas? Is there an ini file I can edit somewhere?

Could be something from another commit. Or just proton drives and Linux file systems not playing nice.

btw ousinus has gotten OS/BS to work on linux!!!
so try using his auto builds version instead of mine
