If that way the mod works, you're having issues with some other mods incompatibility, presumably Nraas mods and in particular Overwatch and ErrorTrap but it could be a lot of them. If KW works by itself (like it does) you should test out your mods adding one by one and trying to understand which one causes this issue

There you go 🫡 It will distinguish partners gender and also virginity from general, where general counts as partner any kind of woohoo, so it's more inclusive! Maybe the original needs rebuilt? I do not have source code of the original mod unfortunately and have no idea what, if any, is the same. I've read that it has supposedly been revised but with so many "updates", "versions", etc. I've lost track. I'd really love a copy of the original source code to look into. I've tried all the different branches so far and the issue seems to be the core implementation. I generally just recreate a fresh folder and play until the save is absolutely disastrous. 😂😂😂 I'm hoping it eventually becomes stable to not break the save.

Yeah, this is absolutely to be kept in mind: corruption still happens in vanilla game, as well as with other mods. We're talking about a very old game that has never been fully fixed or patched by EA and about the fact that any mod can actually ruin your save, being Custom Content. But despite that, I still don't really get what you are asking here. KW, as of now, at least in my case, has never corrupted a save in my entire life (from a gamer perspective and a modder perspective) unless I removed the package from the packages folder without a proper uninstallation. That's the only case where you corrupt your save and make it unusable, and there's a reason for that. Aside from that, never happened once in my life. That being said: Kinky World is a heavy mod, and a very, very invasive mod, because it touches every possible aspects in the game: CAS, code logic, pie menu, notifications, relationships, autonomy, data in general and for every object, Sim and creature - it's a "complete override" mod as a standalone, and that's also the reason why usually it's recommended to have the least possible mods active in your folder with KW. With KW installed and enabled, I never had a problem with one save, even if it was particularly old. It may have more lag, or longer loadings, but it has never been corrupted. I really have older and heavy saves with KW installed and I can load them whenever I want. I would also like to add that I've spent a lot (really a lot) of time implementing the code in a way that doesn't ruin or corrupt anything just by being alive, and that starting from 443 or 444 (I don't remember) I completely re-overhauled the "Uninstall Kinky World" feature in the main settings - it's designed to un-load every possible thing that the mod patches up, so that you can backup save and then remove the packages from your mod folders. It clearly still needs to be refined, but we're not talking about the Kinky World version from 2015, that's pretty much what I'm sure about working on this project for more than a month without ever pausing it. EDIT: If you actually want to take a look at older KW versions code, you can do that to understand how they eventually "break everything". You just need to extract the main DLL from the package with S3PE and then decompile the whole source project with ILSpy. EDIT 2: I not only have very old saves perfectly working with KW (at least with my builds) but I also have different words, including Isla Paradiso or World Adventure worlds. Edited May 1 by BiterBit

I wouldn't really mind it but I was trying out the exhibitionism mechanic and my male sim wouldn't remove his bottom when he was in public, giving me a notification that he isn't wearing a panty. I downloaded appropriate underwear cc and entered its CASP instance ID in the mod settings. After that I couldn't find a way to make him wear it, so I switched to a household with female sims. I found that when I clicked on a drawer I had the option to grab a panty or bra and wear it. Strangely enough that female sim still wouldn't remove her bottom in public despite her wearing a panty. It gave me a weird notification that seemed like a debug message. I have attached a screenshot of it. EDIT: This was after I played around with leveling up the exhibition skill with ReFiner. I also did see your previous comment but didn't get the chance to reply to you properly. So: - "UndressTop.InteractionFeedback:Public:Rejected" is the "raw code" you see in game when a code part hasn't been converted to a text string in your language, or has never been converted to a string in ANY language, so it's "pure code" at the actual state. What I find pretty crazy is that this is the second case: "Oniki.KinkyMod.UndressTop.InteractionFeedback:Public:Rejected" DOES NOT have a string in the STBLs, so no one ever thought to give it proper text for the notification after creating the feature in code, and that's the reason why you see this in every kind of language (english included), and it corresponds to a Public Rejection the Sim gives to itself when you prompt it to do something related to exhibition (upper naked in particular). So the very first thing that I did was giving this code part a string, like: "I can't remove my top in here... It's too crowded. I don't dare!" so that at least it will show like this in game instead of what's in your screenshot. - Secondly: this shouldn't happen in any case where "Household Sims always accept player inputs" is valid as a toggle (enabled). So the very second thing I did was including this kind of inputs/prompts you give to your Sim in that toggle: IT'S THE SIMS, THEY CAN'T REFUSE GODDAMIT!! I HATE SO MUCH THE NPC LOGIC FOR MY SIMS!!! This includes the situation where you tried to undress the bottom of a male Sim, and it refused because of a first time or because he was ashamed - it's because of the NPC logic. It has been patched in 447 already, now my toggle includes exhibition behavior as well in the bypass! - Thirdly: you are not crazy and identified 2 different bugs. 1) The first one is that when you select "Remove Bottom", logic flows through panties in a way that if panties are not present (or are present but bugged) your female Sim could tell you "I'm tempted, but I'm not wearing any panties!" - this doesn't make sense. Remove bottom is supposed to (A) show the bottom naked if it's naked or (B) show the bottom "half" naked if panties are present. That kind of text and decision/scoring doesn't make sense - it tells the mod to "remove bottom considering the panties" but without considering that if panties aren't there, a Sim could just remove "every kind" of bottom (going naked). This is probably related to (2) below. 2) The second bug is a critical one: panties are there, female Sims wear them (and only female Sims can wear them, this is not a bug, it's a mechanic that doesn't exist for male Sims) but when you try to show them to someone (or go bottom naked with panties on, for example in your house or with level 0 difficulty for exhibition) panties get instantly removed from your inventory and you appear fully naked. So even if you add more resources to your CAS parts, they are still bugged and get instantly removed. This is crazy. I'm working on a logger that tells me exactly in which point the panties get bugged and disappear, so I can solve (1) and (2) at the same time, still correcting the logic for number (1), despite not being necessary with NPC logic bypass of my toggle. I will let you know and clearly implement a fix for build 447! Thank you for this report!! EDIT: I also didn't forget your other request about Kinky Traits only being spreaded for a certain percentage of townies - I have everything in my TODOs! And keep also in mind that you can change Exhibition Skill and Woohoo Skill at "+1" by Kinky World as well in debug > traits and skill, I added this in previous builds but forgot to mention It's helpful when ReFiner cannot "safely" increase a skill to Kinky World when it has requirements (like tasks to be completed in the case of Exhibition, unlike vanilla skills) Edited May 1 by BiterBit 1

Araxnhea Posted May 2 Posted May 2 hey you guys im having some trouble getting the mod to run when i put it in my mods folder the script mod popup doesn't pop up but when i remove it everythings fine i've attached my error log at the bottom i've tried to attach as just a log but it wouldn't let me so i had to make it a rar if theres a better way to upload my error log let me know but im getting frustrated any help im grateful for KWErrorLog_Export_E4AAD05E.rar

Are you talking about the pie menu in game for when you click on a Sim or terrain? Or the "modified script popup" when you start your game? Because Kinky World actively hides that popup, intentionally, when you load up your game. And it doesn't mean nothing is working, it's just a popup 😅 By the way, when "nothing works" it's typically for a wrong installation or for mod incompatibility. Please, eventually consider reaching out to me so we can check out together, but at the most likely, you'll have to remove some mods or just paste the extracted folder in your packages folder

Things like these WERE NOT being counted and I added all of them as per your request + my fantasy 🤣 In fact if you try to consult this on an old save, sadly these informations will not be there (not virginity partner at least) because they are chronological starting from where code was actually created/implemented As per the numbers, statistics or the number of attempts, sadly I don't get what you mean Do you mean that number of attempts and number of partners that are actually beside the mastering level are redundant, and that you would like to only see attempts or actual partners? I don't like how they are displayed in any case, so I can refine how they look in the journal - I just need to understand what you mean EDIT: I found out that by the code, 0.Number in those rows is "total partners" while 1.Number is "total count of episodes" for that category. So it may be redundant (if that's what you mean) and it can be refined by text in STBLs or by the code. I'll have a thought on it EDIT 2: After understanding what you meant, I tried to revisit the STBLs for those rows. Here's the result: This is the best that can be done to avoid getting crazy (especially coding the feature 😂). If I add female/male partners for each category, I clearly have to include futa, robots or other types of partners and it becomes "huge". It is possible to give KW only specific traits to share, but at the moment it uses a formula of "randomness" that is very delicate because there are only a few traits to be actually shared for dozens/hundreds of townies and this is the only way to maintain "variety" It can surely be edited in the future so it can be customizable, lile "choose percentage", "choose traits", "choose male vs female only traits" with a dedicated section But keep in mind it's some kind of a huge work, it's starting to mean that I would be working on an actual game and not a free mod in my free time 🤣 In any case, almost everything is possible! I don't think (as of now) that removing the total count of episodes would be a good idea, I like the fact that is counted separately from the total partners! And keeping everything on the same line while being "concise" isn't easy, like: "Teasing : {0.Number} total partners, {1.Number} total events - Mastering : {2.Number}%" Gets a little ugly if someone wants to make it more comprehensible. I like the actual bullet list I've implemented! Also: General and Virginity partner can look redundant, but they are not! You may see it as redundant in the screenshot I attached because general and virginity partners matched (same Sim), but general is considering partner any kind of woohoo act, while virginity is considered as anal or vaginal for every gender! This means that you can have a very first "partner" where you only went teasing, handjob or oraljob counted as general, and a partner that is tracked down differently because it took your virginity! I can think about removing the first (general) or some more editings, but as of now, I'm not sure about any more enhancement - it takes a lot of time and work and I'm onto some more edits for other feature 🤞 EDIT: I'll probably implement a feature where when general and virginity are the same Sim, only virginity will be displayed (so they won't get "redundant") EDIT 2: This is how it looks in the final state: Edited May 2 by BiterBit 1

So the very second thing I did was including this kind of inputs/prompts you give to your Sim in that toggle: IT'S THE SIMS, THEY CAN'T REFUSE GODDAMIT!! I HATE SO MUCH THE NPC LOGIC FOR MY SIMS!!! This includes the situation where you tried to undress the bottom of a male Sim, and it refused because of a first time or because he was ashamed - it's because of the NPC logic. It has been patched in 447 already, now my toggle includes exhibition behavior as well in the bypass! - Thirdly: you are not crazy and identified 2 different bugs. 1) The first one is that when you select "Remove Bottom", logic flows through panties in a way that if panties are not present (or are present but bugged) your female Sim could tell you "I'm tempted, but I'm not wearing any panties!" - this doesn't make sense. Remove bottom is supposed to (A) show the bottom naked if it's naked or (B) show the bottom "half" naked if panties are present. That kind of text and decision/scoring doesn't make sense - it tells the mod to "remove bottom considering the panties" but without considering that if panties aren't there, a Sim could just remove "every kind" of bottom (going naked). This is probably related to (2) below. 2) The second bug is a critical one: panties are there, female Sims wear them (and only female Sims can wear them, this is not a bug, it's a mechanic that doesn't exist for male Sims) but when you try to show them to someone (or go bottom naked with panties on, for example in your house or with level 0 difficulty for exhibition) panties get instantly removed from your inventory and you appear fully naked. So even if you add more resources to your CAS parts, they are still bugged and get instantly removed. This is crazy. I'm working on a logger that tells me exactly in which point the panties get bugged and disappear, so I can solve (1) and (2) at the same time, still correcting the logic for number (1), despite not being necessary with NPC logic bypass of my toggle. I will let you know and clearly implement a fix for build 447! Thank you for this report!! EDIT: I also didn't forget your other request about Kinky Traits only being spreaded for a certain percentage of townies - I have everything in my TODOs! And keep also in mind that you can change Exhibition Skill and Woohoo Skill at "+1" by Kinky World as well in debug > traits and skill, I added this in previous builds but forgot to mention It's helpful when ReFiner cannot "safely" increase a skill to Kinky World when it has requirements (like tasks to be completed in the case of Exhibition, unlike vanilla skills) @ptsdfromhome It is now completely fixed! - No more NPC autonomy with player inputs toggle enabled - No more "raw string text" in general (for the scenarios you posted) - Panties and bras are now visible and engaged correctly from and to the inventory and shown correctly when prompted or via autonomous action!! - Everything should work with custom panties and bra as well! I think I never saw panties or bra in my entire life and I wonder since how long this mechanic has been broken!! Thanks for bringing this up, it's been a huge patch that was very needed!! 1

I thought the same, but in the opposite meaning: considering I never saw that popup before trying to remove KW, I thought that whenever it appeared would mean something was wrong, instead some mods hide that script intentionally 😂 Btw, I'm "honored" but KW is not "my mod", it's a community project! Wow, thank so much for both the detailed explanation and the fix! Btw I had the Household Sims always accept player inputs setting off, so getting the notification wasn't a bug. If possible, could you port the underwear mechanic to male sims too? I feel like KW is a little "imbalanced" when it comes to some things leaning more towards female sims but also now that I found out sims can wear underwear, I'd like to be able to make all of my sims wear underwear, regardless of their gender or how it relates to sex -- I love making the game a tad bit more realistic where I can and tbh I've always thought underwear in the sims is somewhat "useless" in the sense that sims can only wear it if they aren't wearing anything else on top, shirts or pants But I understand if it's too big a task. I know your goal is to fix bugs and such and it probably would require writing a lot of new code. But regardless, thanks again! 2
