What do you "Play" Skyrim For?

When you play Skyrim why do you play it?

 

Do you play it simply because you like Role-Playing the Sex, and you like getting off to it? (Purely Sexual Reason)

 

Do you play it for the actual Combat and don't really use Adult Mods (Purely For the Game)

 

Or Do you use adult mods to make it more realistic, as people did rape in that world (Immerse Reason)

Purely sexual and awesome reasons. Skyrim is my game and my porn both in one (Bonus - I get to enjoy the sex scenes where and how I like them with 'actors" I find attractive, without having to sending any support to an industry rife with sexual assault, abuse, and harrasment, and worse)

I do actually play and really try to immerse myself, but I do often find myself unable to resist using it as a dress-up doll simulator and take tons of screenshots.

 

I don't even have any sex mods installed.

Believe it or not, but Elder Scrolls Games have been my gateway drug for learning a bunch of things (Learning basic programming skills from scripting, learning some 3-D modelling, learning some texture skills). I originally played Morrowind (I still think it's the greatest TES game ever) for the game, then when modding picked up I got moved into that. I skipped out on Oblivion, (college happened). Now with skyrim I find myself slowly coming back to modding. I still have yet to finish the game   (so don't spoil it for me).

 

Simply put, I look forward to TES games for the modding and modding communities. It being a game is a bonus for me.

I played it cause it's TES.  Sure TES is getting worse and worse with each release besides graphics, but what the hell.  After 3 playthroughs though, you stop playing it for the game, and since Illusion is having a bad record with games recently, Skyrim feels the spot for now xP

I play for the sex mods, as well as trying to make my character look as good as possible (you guys excel in that department, my characters just look average) and tinkering with the game.

After beating the game around 8 or 9 times now. I play Skyrim for role-playing and immersion. There's no better satisfaction that having the game's difficulty turned up to insanity-level and trying to get even halfway through without ultimately finding yourself in a "bad ending" sort of scenario.

 

Of course, most of the time I play it for the sex mods.. that much should be a given!

I'm a balanced user.  I have so many mods that they all sort of blend into the background and create a really cool game without needing to hunt down the added content for things to be fun.  I love modders, they make my great games even greater.  I now have a really fun game to play, and I don't need to switch my window for pr0n.

I play it for all those reasons. High adventure, exploration/discovery, combat and then when nothing else is tripping my trigger I can now toss some sex into the mix. I took 4 or 5 characters to level 81+ on my XBox, so it can't be just for the sex mods, although they do add some new elements to the PC version's gameplay.

I like adventuring/exploring. The mods I install, either add to that, or add a little spice to prevent stagnation.

I play Skyrim to escape from the grim and frostbitten reality. Adventuring, exploring and to kill stuff.

I'm not much of a fan of rape mods/sex with beasts and all those mods with tremendous boobies.

 

However, I still like to keep it somewhat "realistic" and immerse myself into the world. So a few sexy mods are installed.

But I don't get exactly moist by it, and characters I have sex with is limited. So it's certainly not for Sexual reasons.

As crazy as it sounds, every playthrough, I try to imagine a story for my hero/heroine. Believe me, this have served me better than any adventure fiction.

I don't' actually play Skyrim, Never been past Riverwood. I play the mods,  I've recovered the Golden Claw so often its starting to wither. 243 Mods (199 plugins). I play to get them all to work and not CTD etc. I find it amazing what people can come up with.

Nude mods and graphics is the only reason, otherwise Skyrim is very mediocre as a game, even compared to Oblivion.

I'm only using it now to make sex movies and screen caps with...honest answer.

 

Though I do plan to play it again probably in a year or two At that point mod evolution will be so great that it'll surely be a whole new game and experience. Plus with things like Falskaar and Moonpath to Elsweyr there will actual new content that can be explored.

 

Of course...even when the time come I actually do play it again I'll still heavily implement sex mods...just not to the degree where I have 150+ mods that are only focused on making the best possible sex scene I can.

I play for all the options. If I want to explore and adventure I can do that. If I want to have random sex and possibly get knocked up I can do that. If I want to whore myself out I can do that. If I'm in the mood to see my character beat down and be abused by random npcs that's always an option and sometimes it happens regardless.

 

I also like the immersion. Adult mods really make the game for me they add a new level of, I'm going to use realism, but it doesn't quite fit. They really add a new level of role play. I also really enjoy being able to do all the things I can't do in real life without well ruining my life.

I guess for me its to role play. Sex (which is the rape mods) mods just adds another level of danger to it. I also like the Prison Overhaul mod by xaz for the same reason. But not so much for the sex scenes (there is much better porn to masturbate to online) but I try not to let it happen, the same way I try not to die. I try to keep the mods I use to a minimum because the vanilla game is already good enough. But those mods give a knew sense of danger to the game.

Iplay it just as an escape. It's purely fantasy for me so I include the sex mods because if I were in this world, I would want to do more than just be an awesome sorceress or assassin or whatever, I'd want to indulge in everything, including sex. The Sex mods help with immersion some times. I don't use them as porn though. I just like to play as if I'm actually there, so I don't just make my characters have mindless sex for no reason.

 

Sometimes I'll play as a normal girl just surviving. Other times, I might play as a warrior who is cursed and must have sex at least 1-5 times a day or else she passes out, so she lets bandits have their way with her then kills them or she'll force herself on bandits lol. I like roleplaying naughty scenarios like that. I like using the skimpy armor and clothing mods for both women and men and pretend that no one in this world cares about nudity, like it's not a big deal so all the guys and girls just walk around half naked (I also use the Summer in Skyrim mod because the snow landscape doesn't appeal to me in the slightest).

 

But I still play regular non-naughty character concepts, but they still have sex when it makes sense for them to. Depending on the character, I'll leave the rape stuff on. If it's a character that couldn't possibly be taken like that, then I leave it off.

 

 

With mods like bodyslide and RaceMenu, it's a great platform for just making characters. I just wish I could figure out how to use the exported heads from RaceMenu/CharGen and turn them into NPCs so I can start my character collection. I can't find any tutorials on it and wouldnt even know where to start

I play Skyrim mainly because the amount of customization it has, most video games have little to none in terms of choosing your chars sex, age, looks, armor style etc, I prefer RPGs over shooters because shooters get really boring really fast, I don't like most first person video games because I'm so tired of playing as a mute male hand holding a gun, where as Skyrim you can play first person or third perfectly fine and get to see you're awesome looking char.

 

In terms of sexual content, what I really like about the sex mods is the sense of realism it adds, it's really annoying how in America most people have a negative view about anything sexual, Its funny how you can show people being decapitated, eviscerated, mutilated in Movies TV, Games, but the second you show a woman's nipple everyone freaks out. Most video games just have lots of violence and that's all you do is just kill people over and over again, where as in mods like Oblivion, Fallout and Skyrim you can add a layer of realism that exists only in mods. I swear if someone ever makes a RPG where it has a great story, combat engine, customization and sex engine it would make a lot of money.
