Version 2.0.0 adds crafting recipes based on the list from the Skyrim LE mod Zaz Crafting (same name) by @Dreamweaver

 

Dreamweaver's LE mod is up for adoption with a note from the mod author, "if anyone wants to use any content from this mod (what little there is) or even take over the mod completely, please be my guest. Just keep it free and fun."

I am essentially adopting Dreamweaver's LE mod by combining its recipes into this mod's version 2.0.0.

 

Please note that Dreamweaver's LE mod uses the "crafting book" approach, in which you must first craft a book, and then have the book in your inventory in order to craft the additional recipes. I'm not a fan of the crafting book approach, so my mod does not work that way. No crafting book is needed with my mod.

 

This mod uses the opposite approach to reduce Forge crafting menu clutter. If you want to omit this mod's recipes from the Forge crafting menu, you can craft a Zaz Recipes Hider tool from one Firewood. If you have a Zaz Recipes Hider tool in your inventory, then this mod's crafting recipes will not be shown in the Forge crafting menu.

I'm beginning to think you might wish that you had never started this!  😂😂😂

 

It's great, though, that someone with the know how, and skill, to do it is dealing with what has been a fairly comprehensive gap the Modern Great Catalogue of Mods

 

Thanks again.  It really adds a whole lot to the game by cutting out a lot of the weirder workarounds that were needed before

Really nice work.

I've been looking over them and I see some oddities.

Cuffs, which cover both ankle and wrist, cost the same amount of ingots as Ankle Cuffs and Wrist Cuffs, despite being basically both at the same time.

Wrist Ropes cost 4 leather strips, but Rope Cuffs (wrist and ankles) cost only 2 strips.

I'm currently writing a Skypatcher mod that gives weight and price to all Zaz items, and I'm trying to have them roughly match the recipe cost.

Can you make a "booked" version, so that all these recipes - crowding your crafting menu - does not show up if the player does not have the 

"ZAZ crafting book" in inventory. The book can be bought by a blacksmith nearby.

To distribute the book to the blacksmiths one of the great distribution tools could be used - Skypatcher, container distribution, maybe SPID (?)

As I said in this mod’s description, I’m not a fan of the crafting book approach.

 

Maybe what we need is the opposite approach, where you can craft a token that hides the crafting recipes if it is your inventory.

If its a book or a token basically does not matter, since the effect would be the same.

I just published version 3.0.0 of this mod, and I added the feature to reduce Forge crafting menu clutter.

 

If you want to omit this mod's recipes from the Forge crafting menu, you can craft a Zaz Recipes Hider tool from one Firewood. If you have a Zaz Recipes Hider tool in your inventory, then this mod's crafting recipes will not be shown in the Forge crafting menu.
