The mod is tested with the latest version, like I told others I can't know without knowing more. Things to check: That you have all required mods, packs, updates for your game and mods and that you've tested it with my mod only or are sure that it only happens when you use it. Other updated mods can also sometimes start giving problems when you put something else in that triggers the problem, etc.

Tank you! I have thought of an add-on for something similar and have a small prototype for an interaction for precisely that, but I'm kind of in a sims lull so I don't know when I'll get back to working on new features, but when I do it should be one of the first things I add

Anyway, I modified the transcendent charmer potion to not test for teens-adult (it only works teen on teen) and to work on relatives. At first I thought I goofed... all the sims the incestuous spell caster used it on had the incest trait. So, made a new family and removed all WW traits. Still works! It's exactly what I wanted! The potion instantly gives them the incest trait. Otherwise you work up the romance until it reaches a level as more and more romantic options become available. 

OF course, the WW Casual romantic trait borks the mod because the romantic relation doesn't increase! (Too me forever to figure that one out).

Thank you very much! And hmm, well, the mod doesn't add the clone relbits themselves, they are handled by the game. But they are two separate ones for the cloning machine and the magical clone since they're from different packs, I think it might be that the GtW one is visible whereas the one from RoM is a hidden relbit instead. And your potion mod sounds really cool!

Thank you! It might not be showing up because for discovery, both of them have to lack the incest trait. It's for persuasion that the requirement is one having it and the other one not

For family play between related sims, you need to have a sim with the Incest Fetishist trait ask their partner to make it kinky, that's what unlocks it. If they're not related, the Incest Fetishist has to ask their partnet to be their pretend family

ElTlacuache's idea for incest specific dialogue to initiate sex is good!

 

I have some other ideas that I think could add to the mod.

 

- Add contextual responses and moodlets for the "Reveal incestuous pregnancy" interaction. So for example a sim with the "incest fetishist" trait after learning about an incestuous pregnancy would have a response like "Oh wow, you've been fucking your *relation* and they knocked you up / you knocked them up? That's so fucking hot!" and then they could have a horny moodlet for "Learned about incestuous pregnancy" with text like "*name* found out about *other sim*'s incestuous pregnancy / getting their *relation* pregnant, and the perverse thought of it / looking at their round belly is driving them wild!"

 

Repressed sims could gain a dazed or embarrassed moodlet with text like "*sim* learned about *other sim*'s incestuous pregnancy / getting their *relation* pregnant. *sim* knows it's sick and wrong, so why are they so fascinated by it?"

 

Similarly sims that are against incest could have a scared or dazed moodlet with text like "*name* can't stop thinking about *other sim*'s incestuous pregnancy / getting their *relation* pregnant. It doesn't feel real. How could they do that? How will it affect the family? Will the child have problems? Oh god what do they do?!"

 

There should be a response and moodlet for sims that are being told they are the father of an incestuous pregnancy / female sims realizing they are incestuously pregnant, depending on their attitude towards incest. With the incest fetishist trait it could be like "Oh god yes, its actually happening, I got my *relation* pregnant / I'm having *relation*'s baby! This is too hot!" There could also be a dazed moodlet like "Is this even real? Is *sim* really going to have a baby with their *relation*? This has to be some twisted dream..." or a scared moodlet like "Oh god, what have we done?! I knew we were going too far and now we're having an inbred baby! What will everyone think!?"

 

- Add interactions for incestuous pregnancy and inbreeding, perhaps a dedicated branch, for the sims in the incestuous relationship. For example, a sim could ask the other sim if they're willing to have an inbred child together. There could be family play interactions like "Ask *sim* if they want to make a mess of the family tree" or "Tell *daughter sim* you want to knock her up with her own siblings." or "Tell *mom sim* you want to impregnate the woman who made you." etc etc.

 

During the pregnancy there could be interactions like "Ask *relation* if they think anyone suspects" or "Express disbelief that they're having an inbred child together."

 

There could be interactions for after an incestuous pregnancy as well such as "Ask *sim* if they should ever reveal to *offspring* that they are inbred" or "Ask *sim* that since they got away with an incestuous pregnancy once, shall they risk it again?"

 

There could also be specific interactions for sims that are cheating, for example "Ask *relation* if *relation's partner* suspects the baby isn't theirs / is *sim*'s?" or even "Joke with *relation* about how *relation's partner* is excited about the pregnancy."

 

- Add incest specific jealousy moodlets, including for sims that have an incestuous crush. For example a male sim seeing his parents kiss gets angry at the dad sim with an anger moodlet like "One day *sim* is going to seduce his *relation* for himself, but for now he just has to angrily watch on". And for a repressed sim a similar moodlet could be "*sim* knows it's ridiculous, but when they see their *parent sim* kissing *parent sim* they can't help but feel jealous."

 

Probably too complicated but if two sims have an incestuous crush on the same 3rd sim, they could have incest specific jealousy towards each other. For example "*3rd sim* has always preferred *2nd sim*, but surely they wouldn't have incestuous sex with them instead of with *sim*?" or "*sim* was nearly ready to admit their perverse feelings to *3rd sim*, but now they find them committing incest with *2nd sim* instead of with them!?"

 

There should be jealousy or suspicion moodlets for the non-incestuous sims as well. For example "*sim* initially thought it was good that their *relation* was getting closer with their *other relation*, but now they're starting to wonder if maybe they're TOO close."

 

- Include more interactions that cause suspicion in other sims who witness it, without jumping to the "Caught cheating" outcomes. 

 

- Add risky teasing interactions. Sims in an incestuous cheating relationship could make comments to their partner / their relation's partner that hint at the incestuous relationship. For example "Tell *partner / relation's partner* that *relation* enjoys *sim*'s company more than theirs." or "You don't love *relation* like I do." The other sim could then gain a moodlet like "What did they mean by that? It's almost like they're suggesting..."

 

- Add cheating specific interactions for the sims in the incestuous relationship. For example "Ask *relation* if they prefer kissing you or *relation's partner*" and perhaps a more guilty interaction like "Express guilt about betraying their *relation*." or maybe "Admit you find it hot committing incest behind *partner / relation's partner*'s back."

 

- Add an interaction for sims to ask their mothers to breastfeed them again, mother sim's response and moodlet depends on her incest opinion and trait. 

 

- Perhaps an incestuous sexting option on the phone.

 

- If a sim is suspicious of two family members, the family members gain an interaction where they can make excuses / accuse the sim of being ridiculous. This could also be after they are caught doing the basic kiss, snuggle or flirt interactions. 

 

Incestuous pregnancy specific suspicion interactions / moodlets for other sims. For example a dazed moodlet like "*sim* recently had a baby, but it looks exactly like her *relation*! Surely the two of them didn't..." or "*sim* never believed when people said *other sim* was too close to their *other sim's relation*, but now *other sim* has a baby that looks just like them!"

 

Also if there is a 4th family or household member that is not incestuous nor suspicious, the suspicious sim could ask them if they've noticed anything strange and that could prompt a suspicious moodlet either towards the incestuous family members, like "Now that you mention it, they do act strangely together lately." or backfire towards the accuser like "Why on earth would they think that's what's happening? They've probably got some sick fetish, I don't want to be near them right now." 

 

If a sim has previously caught other sims committing incest and one of those sims is pregnant / gets pregnant, then the sim that caught them can have an interaction with them like "I know you're having your *relation*'s baby / got your *relation* pregnant! You're disgusting!" and depending on the accused sim's attitude towards incest they get different moodlets from being confronted. For example "Tell me again how I'm having a baby with my *relation*! Having another sim point out the depravity of inbreeding just makes it even hotter!" or "Oh god, they're right! What have we done?!" or "Who are they to judge? We're in love and want a family, so what if we're related?"

 

These are the ideas your mod inspired in me

 

In terms of fixes, I've noticed the "expose incestuous relationship" reaction moodlets basically never go away and sometimes rotate back to the initial anger / fear ones. I've also noticed a bug where some sims just stop having the "incest" branch appear at all. The other thing is probably more just an oversight more than anything, but a sim can reveal an incestuous pregnancy to the sim who got them pregnant and get a response as if they're talking about someone else. For example "I'm so happy for you two." It would also be good if some of the discovery interactions could stick around even after the sims both have the incest trait. 

 

I realize this is a lot and I want to make clear I expect nothing and love your mod lol but what you have so far is amazing and I think has great potential to be even better!

personally, I'd like to see an option for incest accepting parents to encourage their kids to become incestuous with each other, not to set up father-daughter and mother-son dynamics but a brother-sister pair having a boy and a girl and encouraging them to continue the tradition.

I'd also like to see something for if both incestuous sims have a third (unrelated) romantic partner, harem or not. Like, a brother-sister pair are mutually dating another sim, and that sim's just ok with the incest.

Hell, having an unrelated sim willing to act as a beard for an incest romance could be an interesting option.

Oh. One idea about pregnancy. Maybe there should be computer options about research about incest and stuff. Maybe even some discovery parts were a sim can research about incest and be more open towards it.

So I'm wanting the mod to work but when I try to install just the core mod it does the thing where it sends me to the world screen every time I try to load. If someone can help with taking a look at my MCC exception file to see what the heck I'm doing wrong, I would really appreciate it. Saved it a giant screenshot, sorry in advance. I have only put in the core package and script files, no add ons.

Sorry, another small bug I noticed was that on multiple households, under the "Romantic Mentorship" branch, the "Covertly ask to teach how to have sex" option would appear first, before the hugging or kissing interactions would be available.

Some people here have had issues where having other outdated mods can cause the game to break when interacting with other mods, other than that there are many factors. Making sure everything is updated, etc. Unfortunately I can't know without the specific factors

It seems you are getting a lot of exceptions that flag many mods. That it flags it doesn't mean it's the culprit, but sometimes if you have outdated mods it can interfere with other mods in ways that causes them to break, even if they weren't breaking previously
