I got around to it today. Tested a few defeat scenarios without Acheron, and tweaked Nerfed Followers for these changes.

 

I will upload an update 1.4 along with a no Acheron version. Hopefully it will work as expected.

I don't know of anything that would cause the MCM not to show up.

Correct!

 

The Sequence is they get knocked down and go into the archeron death idle on their knees and hand, if you wait long enough during combat, they go into the sitting idle. If you get knocked then Acheron will knock everyone down again forcing the hands and knees idle, after that the scene will start either Simple Defeat with the struggle Animation or YK which starts the animation straight away. The scene will play but then they will go right back to the sitting idle breaking the animation

 

Sorry for the long post, hopefully this helps for testing.

This is really weird. Everything in game and in Vortex shows that the plugin is active, and I get the dialogue options to show up. I can even find the scripts and various related options by console command. But for some reason it seems like none of the scripts are actually activating. 

 

This might be a more general problem, since it appears like I am the only one who has it. But for some reason this only applies to this mod in my game. 

 

Is it possible for the mod to have any other dependency that was not listed? That's the only thing I can think of. 

 

EDIT: I installed Papyrus Tweak (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/77779?tab=description) and the [Inspect] and [Push Away] Dialogue options suddenly started working, so I guess there is some dependencies that were not listed.

Hi everyone! hopefully someone can assist.

 

My logs keep get flooded with the below message

[12/03/2025 - 01:50:47PM] [ddnf] Searching for actor close to defeated follower: Bell found: [Actor < (28023527)>] : bandit is hostile: False

Is there any way to get it sorted? I hope DDNF stands for nerfed follower mod and i'm at the right place to ask this.

 

The reason i'd like to sort it out is cause it spams that into the log every second and it floods the log with the message.

 

From my understanding Bell follower got defeated ( i never visited the location she is at. She's located at meridia's statue close to Solitude as her mod author says) and she doesn't get captured due to the npc close to her not being a bandit? Maybe if i go there i can do something? like revive her etc?

 

Please let me know if i should provide mod order etc. Tho i think it's not needed? I can provide it if it is needed tho.

 

Thank in advance for any assistance!

 

Also do tell if it's safe to ignore and won't break things.

That's just a debug message I put in while developing the mod when searching for a nearby NPC to enslave a defeated follower. It's not a bug. You can disable the functionality in the MCM, just by setting the follower enslavement chance to zero.

Thanks for the mod. It is something I always wanted to have for my playthrough. 

I don't know how well NFF performs compared to EFF.

(I used AFT before, which had more features, but the performance was terrible compared to EFF.)

Thanks, got around to testing today, went to fort amol with 3 followers, 2 got defeated and enslaved and 1 was sat down severely injured. Once I defeated the baddies the enslaved followers reappeared (with all gear and weapons intact).

 

Went a bit further past the bridge towards whiterun and fought again, all 3 followers got enslaved (I ran away). Once I killed all the bad guys 1 follower came back but without their gear and just wearing hide pants :( and another got carted off to House of Grey Mayne in whiterun so I guess FSM is working with no acheron version. In captive player I have strip only & robbery disabled for both so I wonder what it could be?

 

Also is it possible to heal downed followers from afar if I'm a healer? thanks

I will check if there is a bug in robbery... As far as healing from afar, sure it can be done if you know such a spell.

Most mods including this one are not safe to remove mid game. The only few exceptions are mods without an esp or esm file, and they can be removed.

No way right now, except to sleep or wait. They recover as time passes by. I could add something in the future.

Don't know why but sometimes after intensive fight game will crash and below information will popup. I am not sure it's 100% relate to this mod but may highly relevant.

Hi

 

When I go to a new area and my follower hasn't quite caught up NFF will teleport him but he suddenly becomes severly injured (even though theres no enemies around). I'm assuming he's teleporting and dropping from a distance, is there a way to check if if player isincombat or going to a new area? thanks

It happens to me too in rare cases. I already check for combat, so I will have to think of another solution.

Hi,

I just noticed that my followers are no longer getting enslaved. After doing some testing and checking the Papyrus log, I downgraded back to version 1.4, and everything started working again.

Would you mind taking a look on your end to see if this might be related to the latest update? It’s also possible that the issue is on my side, but I wanted to let you know in case something broke between versions.

Im using the Acheron version. I havent had the time to play the last couple of days, but i think the same problem, to some extend, plagues version 1.4 too. So i think something in my load order is interfering with Nerfed Followers.
