For example, if your spuse is following you and you decide to tap some helpless forsworn wench you should send their affection levels into the negative. Furthermore spending too much time away from home may cause the spouse to be angry, but not cheat, unless the NPC is already like that (camilla from riverwood trader would be likely to cheat) Spending time with the spouse by having them follow you on your adventure would slowly bring their affection levels up. Finally sexual technique preferences, each npc spouse may have a favored sexual practice that they preform or want the player to preform more often, as an example, and thus provide increased affection levels, Serana may prefer vaginal or oral sex, but not like anal, while Aela may be more open to such a method for pleasure. Although this requires setting npc preferences which maybe too much effort. Just some interesting ideas to make the spuse more realistic feeling.

So while they may not stop you from raping someone don't expect them to be happy with you after words. (in other words yo may not be getting any for a few days, to months)

Though I suppose the spuse could try to rescue the player...

You are probably right, but it is only fair to remember that not everyone uses rape mods, and sexlab does not require them to work. SE was initially conceived as an alternative to rape and bestiality mods.

I thought about it, but I'm still too new to Skyrim modding.

And yes, I still get the dryhumping. Don't know if I am right in thinking this, but it seems to me that the required animations are somehow missing or overwritten by another mod, or I have disabled the animations in SL (because I don't use all the animations). If I knew which animations are needed to get the kissing and wakeup cuddle, I could make sure they are activated. Alas, I am know clever enough to read logs and BSA's and what-not. :-\ - B. I believe the animation is the Arrok standing foreplay one; if it's disabled, you won't get the kissing scene. I'd suggest re-running FNIS, but since the other animations work, that may not do anything; not that it would hurt to do so. You also may need to make sure that pre-sex foreplay is also checked in Sexlab. If none of that helps, I don't know what else to suggest. Sorry. *sigh* I appreciate your suggestions, Gulf. That's...weird. The only time we (my actual wife and I) don't get the kissing animation is when either our characters or our spouses are werewolves. In those cases, it goes to the werewolf sex animations, which are rather funny to watch when we're both dressed. In game, everything shows up as it should. I wish I knew what the problem was. I'm guessing it's a bad function somewhere. Have you tried the saved game script cleaner? That might help.

Say they catch you with the steward/housecarl/follower or whoever then the affection level decreases and they temporary hate you. If you reject them from getting intimate they'll have a higher chance of cheating on YOU with someone around of which if you catch them in the act you can then get in their face like they would to you. Causing them to hate you and if things get worse they have a temporary amount of time in a higher amount say a few weeks to a month depending on the heat of the arguments, which makes them say the vile hate lines and they don't allow you to open the menu for interactions? Just be neat to see it expanded to include more realistic stuff seeing how it's a common thing in relations to cheat or be cheated on. Of course it's wrong but it happens none the less and this would be a good addition to the mod. If it ever get's going again as people are claiming afk modder.

No? well, apprently I am... I have the kissing/ wake-up animations working again (YAY). So what was the issue in my case you ask? Good question. First of all I was assuming a lot of things, which is rarely a good idea. So anyway, for people who share my blondness here is a run down of why the kissing/ wake-up animations may not be working: I assumed that the animations would be called from SexLab's "Foreplay animations" list. Since I have "pre-sex foreplay" activated, I further assumed that this would take care of things. So I unselected the foreplay animations in "normal animations". WRONG! Last night I was reading the papyrus logs (Tip: with Notepad ++, MUCH easier than with normal windows notepad!) and found the references to SpousesEnhanced. I noticed it was selecting all the "normal" animations, which are disabled in the foreplay selection. Which then finally made it click with me that my assumption that SE calls for the foreplay animations list was wrong. So, I enabled the foreplay animations in the "normal animations" list and hey presto... my lips were indeed missed and I was snogged! Yes, I cried a little... So: - makes sure the foreplay animations are enabled in the "Normal Animations" list. - I tested this and it is not neccessary to have "pre-sex foreplay" selected. But of course you can can if you want to. And now I will go hang my head in shame for wasting everyone's time. I really appreciate the help everyone, especially Gulfwulf. *bro-hugs* - B.

I tried interacting, but I got a popup sayin "watch and pleasure yourself", so I did. but now he seems to be stuck in that. Whenever I try to interact, I get this damned pop up. Clicking on cancel has no effect. I tried to go back to a save from before this happened and played through, but no luck. He was stuck in the bedroom and I only get that popup. Next I uninstalled SpouseEnhanced, did the ClearInvalidRegistrations bit in the console, waited a bit (in another cell), saved, walked up to Farkas (who was now roaming the house and not stuck in the bedroom), but I couldn't interact with him at all! I then reinstalled SE (again in another cell), did clearinvalidregistrations (there were none), walked up to Farkas (who was again stuck in the bedroom) and I keep getting the "Watch and pleasure yourself" popup. Help please? - B.

Hopefully somebody that knows far more about modding than I do can clean this mod up a little. Really sounds like it gives your spouse some personality and introduces sex in an immersive (and non-violent) way.

It IS one of the best for SexLab. Period. The issues I am having are probably caused by something I did wrong. And the forum is the place to ask for help. There a loads of people using this mod, who have no problems with it at all. So don't let the cries for help skew your opinion. If you think this mod would be a valuable addition to your Skyrim experience, just try it. Because it is indeed a very, VERY valuable addition. - V. (formerly B.)

Help please? - B. That's happened to us sometimes. You'll need to go back to a save before you enter your house and turn off spouse entry events. Enter your house, save, turn it back on, and try the lovers surrender spell, or whichever one it is that starts an entry event. If that causes the issue again, you'll have to turn it off again and approach him to have some fun.

Ashal is the author of SexLab itself, so he is way too busy to take on this mod as well. At the time he "just" made an update to make sure this mod would keep working with the newer Sexlab versions. But that was just as a courtesy to the users of this mod. We are still waiting for someone knowledgable to take on this mod. I wish I could, but I have no experience in scripting and whatnot. - V.
