I've been using Sexlab JailRape (SLJR) as my prison mod for a while, since I don't really like the massive minigames of the other popular mods, like PAF or POP. But one thing that's disappointed me with SLJR is how the guard mentions how he's going to enjoy you every day, yet only one scene is played before you're sent free. That's where Serve Sentence comes in! This patch edits SLJR so that it plays a scene on every night you use the Serve Sentence bed, rather than just once before sending you to freedom. A neat feature of this patch is that once you've paid off your bounty, there's nothing stopping you from staying in jail for... whatever reason.
 

This mod just replaces the ESP and a few scripts from SLJR, so it should be drag and drop. No need for a new save (correct me if I'm wrong here).

 

Once you get sent to prison, use the cot to start a scene, then once he leaves your cell and just stands there staring at you like he's some sort of guard, open up the wait menu and wait some time, it's random (check Serve Sentence's page if you need to know more). If you waited long enough, your bounty reduces, you get some bread, and the bed will reappear next to you allowing you to start another scene to keep paying off that bounty.

If you want your bounty to be paid off faster, use one of the ELAF Serve Time esl files, which change the bounty paid per day (default 10). These simply increase the bounty reduction per day, you don't need SLJR for these

Cheers works well, only issue I got is the bread that is given is not triggering iNeed so it gives no saturation, I guess its added by Serve sentences so not on your plate :]

with sseedit u could open Serve sentences mod along with whatever survival mod ur using .. setting the survival mod as master to Serve sentences .

and change that bread to any food from the survival mod . a soup bowl from CACO for example should handle both hunger and thirst

at least in theory . i havent tried it or the mod yet ... on that note . the old bread item in sseedit says " restores hunger thirst and fatigue " not sure if it actually does or was this a planned feature that never made it . prolly needs a patch with ineed

Doesn't iNeed give a prompt whenever you eat a new item? That should let you do it.

But yeah, that was an issue with serve sentence (which I only edited for the bounty decay rate, going down 10g per day would be painfully slow), they recommend pausing whatever needs mod while in jail.

Oh yeah.. I forgot iNeed had a Catalog setting it works just fine now thanks for the tip

Great mod! However, the ELAF Serve Time esl files are not working for me. No matter which one I have installed, bounty only decreases by 10. Do you have any ideas what is going on? Thank you in advance!

Where is the default ELAF time served.esp?

 

Both the elaf 25 amd the main mod are screaming for this esp file in loot

The beds/cots keep dissapearing and reapearing. I don't get this. I wait one hour, a whole day passes by, Advanced Nudity Detection system notifies me of a massive time scale change, and that also ruins scripts from other mods and I can see it affecting them in real time. Very naughty naughty thing to do. No one has messed with timescale like this since like 2018. It's a minor mod setup thing to do. You don't do that with any large mod setup because no one is going to patch all their scripted mods for a time scale adjustment, especially of this magnitude.

Then I die. I randomly get killed by lack of hunger after waiting one hour and see 2 days have passed. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say maybe you just haven't tested this thoroughly and some hold jail systems work differently as Ive only tested in one hold. However, this seems way to hacky to just keep using at this point regardless. I don't think Serve Sentence is the ideal mod to use for this bridge between mods. Better to update Jailrape with a day-to-day sentence serve you made from scratch to work with Jailrape out of the box, because this seems very unstable.
