Funny enough' date=' the only thing I don't have backed up (far as oblivion goes), is my current oblivion install, my blender WIP folder, and my "finished and released" folder. Speaking of, found my current install residing in a [i']different[/i] folder that I had on my desktop. Assuming I don't experience any more lockups, (knock on wood), I should have most of my oblivion stuff saved. After that is music (lots of music), other game stuff, image stuff, and various important documents.

 

If I can get everything set up by the end of the weekend, maybe I'll have something to share by the 23rd.

 

If you are having weird problems (lockups, stuff disappearing, other oddities) I would highly recommend if you do back up, do it from a clean read only OS like a Linux liveCD and copy to a stable back up device. Moving/copying files from a bad windows install can be dangerous. That is, unless you know for sure bad hardware is the problem.

I suggest you become a paranoid back up person like me. I have all my stuff on my computer, on a spare hard drive, and on yet another spare hard drive in a safety deposit box - my house can burn to the ground and I won't lose all my stuff.

 

I update my back up drives every couple of months as well.

It's a start. It's four AM, so it's bed for now. Guess I'll see if I have any more trouble during daylight. Still need to activate Windows, start downloading updates, and figure out what the heck needs a driver and where to find said driver.

Ohkay... think I've got a good deal straightened up. Turns out my external drive that I'm using is currupted. Vast majority of the data is recoverable, but it'll probably take me weeks to go through all 400 Gigs of it.

So long as everything works, and continues to work, I should be back to conversions. I had already gotten a large amount of stuff done just before this shit happened (almost two thirds of what I had planned is sitting ready, only lost a single .nif), hoping to get to the last bit, aiming for Sunday.

blackwire topless didn't seem to find my top-half of skin texture & Lady Moon jasmine panties seem to break up if you move & had an odd skin issue with lower-half skin texture.

Nothing I can do about the textures (probably on your end). I'm guessing you're using a different lower body than what the Lady Moon Jasmine panties were fitted for. Both the panties and the stockings use the amulet and tail slots, meaning equipping either or both will not replace the lower body. If the lower body is the proper size, the weighting might be different.

OK, there are two things you can try in Nifscope that might help.

 

Both of these tricks apply ONLY to the meshes in the nif that should show skin.

 

First, make sure that the material is set to 'skin', all lower case

 

Second, make sure that the name of the NiTriStrips containing the skin mesh starts with Foot or Foot:.

 

The texture actually should be set to textures\characters\imperial\female\footfemale.dds, even if you are using a custom race.

 

Setting the material to skin and naming the object Foot tells Oblivion to assign your race's foot texture to the mesh.

A little over two (maybe three) weeks ago I gave myself a deadline to complete two AGS packs (one being outfits, the other shoes to complete the clothing folder of the store) and finish off the current request list. That deadline? Sunday, September 23. All I have left to do is this:

 

...Which contains the High Heels from the Apachii Goddess Store that I haven't, and probably will never, be able to do. If anyone wants to take a crack at converting them to DMRA, feel free.

 

Everything else will be posted Sunday, so keep an eye out.

Apachii Goddess Store Parts 6 and 7 are now available for download.

That brings me to about the half way mark. Also means a good time to take a break from the AGS for a while. Still looking for screenshots to fill the gallery. Also, if you see something that I either might've missed (keep in mind there are a handful I purposefully skipped due to not being able to convert for various reasons), or you think something could be redone, don't hesitate to tell me.

 

 

 

Saber Lily, FLY Daedric Armor remodel replacer, Assassin Angel, Bayonetta, and Risty Armor DMRA and BDM are also available for download.

That's it for the current request list. It'll probably be another week or two before I start taking more. This time, I'm going to limit to 10 requests at a time, with one request per person. I'm hoping it'll help me out in the long run.

For some reason the only part of the Wisteria armor that shows up is the panties. I looked at the mesh in nifskope and I can see all the other parts, but they won't show up in game...

Yeah, it's found in this post. Make sure you grab the second mediafire link from the first post, apparently there are eye textures that are also needed. I plan on doing some more work with the fairy mod, and I'll also be willing to take future requests for trying different outfits, hair, and wings (assuming I can get any of it to work, the fairy uses a different skeleton system, thus it requires different weighting).
