I do wonder if they’re gonna implement cross progression in between? I have the werehog on my PS5 version of the game, but I do wish they either allowed us to buy it separately or transferred game data across platforms. Eh, maybe in the future.

I honestly think it would have been cool for the Werehog to be the bonus for buying both Season 1&2 passes. Super Shadow is cool though. Also, I now have more reasons to Grind Tickets after getting the AI racers. I was so close to being free.

We should use her nude model from the Persona 3 Reload thread made by jmedia7.

We could also replace her with the other S.E.E.S. girls, with their respective nude mods from Persona 3 of course.

 

Quite surprising we're getting a Persona DLC as part of the Y2 season pass even though we already have Joker and getting AIGIS as playable characters for free.

But hey, it would be neat to race across Tartarus, TV World, or the Metaverse, and have more Persona characters to officially play as.

 

Now this is exactly what I was talking about if Nintendo allows their characters to be in the game, Sega will have to follow their obligations or the deal is off:

In this case, we have some weird restrictions for the Sanrio DLC with Mirror Mode and customisable machine parts being forbidden.

At least the content is multi-platform, but this is exactly what we have to deal with for IPs owned by overprotective corporations.

 

Well, it was $70. Now it's on a more reasonable price, finally.

But the only new form of singleplayer content we're getting for Year Two being just Duel Mode is a little disappointing.

I mean the mode is cool, but there could still be more like an actual Mission mode (like how Riders did it, not that new achievement-like mission system).

Or a mode where we drive the tracks in reverse, which I think is more interesting than the tracks being simply flipped in Mirror Mode.

I know this is technically impossible but I would also love a mode where we could do a long marathon race where we do each lap on every track available.

Maybe something like OutRun mode! Speaking of... they knew what they're doing there:

Also, come on Sega, give us actual costumes for character skins, not just recoloured versions of the AI Racers!

I do wish my computer didnt spazz out on me now, more character slots gave me more ways to replace characters without overshadowing my other mods (NSFW Krystal over one of AI Blaze’s new colors for example)

You really don't need to wonder that hard, it's been done for years lmao. Both on model and way off.

Plushfuckers have had this technology for a very long time, and now we can have a proper crossover with that community lol.

Looking through the Hello Kitty tag on r34, a lot of these evoke the feeling of accurate Cream lewds, but way more extreme, and a lot of them just inflate Kitty's proportions way up to make her a more standard porn character, it's interesting to see how creative people are about solving the problem of "how would I want to fuck Hello Kitty?".

Isn't something like an OutRun mode technically possible? Or does the game pre-load only the necessary data for three tracks (the selected track, a revealed warp track, and a presumably pre-selected random hidden track) for each race? Due simply to hardware differences on PC, I doubt such a mode would ever work in multiplayer, but if the tracks could be loaded dynamically while the race is going on, the only hardware constraint for this working in a single-player mode is the speed at which the next track can be loaded in. If making it load data in the middle of a race isn't possible, though, the idea is a total non-starter...

The way how CrossWorlds works is that three tracks get loaded onto the scene.

Even the final lap of the main track (and also the 2nd lap in Time Trials) is its own instance, not the same map.

You can see this for yourself with free camera mods where there are 3-4 maps loaded simultaneously when zoomed out. 

The random track for the 2nd lap is already determined and loaded, not randomised on the spot so it's more of a surprise track.

 

Having to preload every single track would take a long time to load and could hog up the memory that impacts the performance.

If the game were to dynamically load each map during the game instead, that would also affect the performance with stuttering as well.

The way how the game loads the tracks is just not really practical and optimised for a long marathon race, I'm afraid.

Sometimes though, I just get curious of what people think of my mods outside the usual space.

It's no big deal of course, I'm still happy to continue making my "shitty" mods with sticks for legs and beans for bodies (you know, literally the proportions of the character's official designs) lol.

Gee, been a while since I've last posted here... holy shit, what a news dump! Modding's gonna get crazier with all the new characters, plus new AI skins which open up more slots for even more character model mods!

 

And with the reduced price, hopefully we'll see a boom in new modders joining the fray to expand the library even further!
