if someone is interested I made a mod manager for the Steam version, I already tested it with Mejiro McQueen mod by goofyahhcats and jmedia7 and it works fine.
the manager basically makes backup copies of the og file before to replace it with the mod file when you activate the mod, and when you deactivate the mod the og files are copied back to the game folder replacing the mod files with og files. 👍

asians are kinda scared to mess with some franchises because of fanbase, umamusume weirdos likes to strike every erotic fanart out of existence on every social media , i imagine that they will make the same with nude mods when they find out

cant bepinex used to load assets too? or it doesnt work on this game?

I got as far as getting umaviewer to work, when i export the model i get a .pmx file. 
When following the guide i cant find the .bundle as in other games (Finding the models step), probably because the assets are in the appdata\..\..\dat\. 
it is a bit confusing getting this first step on umamusume


u use asset studio to extract the assets (model), not uma viewer as far i undestand, pmx is a 3d container mostly used for mmd

no idea tbh, I'm not the BrownDustX developer (Synae) lol
I see ppl are modding the game files directly so I just made the manager to work with that

So if we can supply you with a model you can port it? I'm unsure to port into this game, i've ported into genshin, but all of that has been done with blender addons

Where can we send it to you, and is it just an export from blender and you do the rest?

How do textures and everything go, I just want like the basis of what I typically need in order to send it, like do I have to have certain weights applied do I need to have it all worked out before I send it, if this is anything like modding for other games that have movement, weights are probably the hardest thing for this.

Will you just do replacement ports like Maruzenky's towel or tracksuit model, will that require anything else?

I need horny mods on my game to make me feel better, this game feels like a roguelite now.

Just unlocked Winning Ticket's third outfit and...I can see a version of it where she doesn't wear the inner shirt, would love to have that. TwT

To my understanding you unlock the main outfit for characters by getting them to star level 3, but that really only applies to 1 and 2 star girls

Other outfits like those seen in training im unsure if you can even get them

You just unlock more stars in general, basically. That's what I was told anyways...I dunno if there's something else you have to do for other outfits.

You're probably aware, but deactivate doesn't work... that or I broke it, lol.

the activation and deactivation works with the game closed, when you activate a mod you should have the og files moved to "backup" and when you deactivate the mod those files are moved from "backup" back to the Steam "dat" folder.
