boinkboinkb0ink Posted June 28 Posted June 28 I cannot get the voices to play, is there any way to test it in-game?

This update should be safe to install in the middle of your playthrough. Ah sorry, my bad! Confused indeed with another mod 1

It looks like Zurk took your original "1.0" note-abandoned-still-in-development-mod and added his stuff over it, then rename the esp and post it as version 2. You should warn that Zurk's "Vanilla Sexism 2.x" is not compatible with KajsaRikka's "Vanilla Sexism 1.x. Direct conflict of assets, similar purpose but different author direction to extent of the mod features. Note from "Vanilla Sexism 2.x" Spoiler Important: Do not use this mod together with the original Vanilla Sexism mod (https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/42340-vanilla-sexism/) This version already includes the original mod. MENDEFBI Posted June 29 Posted June 29 Congratulations on this amazing mod KajsaRikka! I appreciate all the effort put into creating and refining it! Mods that introduce new voiced interactions with NPCs are among my favorites! If you don't mind, would it be possible to create more lines for female NPCs to say to the male character, please? I ask this because I play as a male character... =P I wish you success with your mods!

Do you have any thoughts about the kind of female NPC -> male PC lines you'd like? I haven't thought a lot about it because I mostly play as a female character, but I like the idea of a male character getting reverse-sexist praise. "Only a real man like you could have the strength to save Skyrim..." type of thing 1

"Only a real man like you could have the strength to save Skyrim..." type of thing Sure! My pleasure! I used ChatGPT to generate some sexist phrases from women to men. Some are quite risqué, while others are a bit milder! If you'd like me to generate something more specific, please let me know! I hope you enjoy them! That was not my statement purpose. Spoiler My statement is that because both version of the mods will conflict, you will not provide support (not obvious to noobs), and for your mental health, it is prudent adding a warning about conflict with the other mod in the installation instruction tab and the description page. People will be confused without the warning in the mod page, and will nag you about it in the support post. I was just trying to help, because you have not yet experienced the noobs legendary powers to be stupid and nagging in support post. A few very good mod authors have fallen to them.
soadT Posted July 1 Posted July 1 (edited) it's not working for me. to be clear I need to download both Arial Vanilla Sexism & Arial Vanilla Sexism Voices, right? Edited July 1 by soadT

If you want the lines to be voiced, you need them both. If you prefer subtitles, don't like synthed voices, or want to preserve filespace, all you need is Arial Vanilla Sexism. Try setting the cooldowns to 0 in the MCM. You should see/hear a lot of dialogue from this mod, so much that you get sick of it and turn the cooldowns back on

You will hear the most lines with the cooldown set to 0. Try going to a crowded inn or a place with a lot of guards like the city worldspace of Markarth.
Leonel777 Posted July 6 Posted July 6 I have been using Sexist Commentary, can I use this mod alongside it? I wanna keep the commentary one too as that has player narrator commentary alongside npc comments. Can these work side by side?

But still not hearing any new dialogue from inns or guards.
Dnalorgnauq Posted July 6 Posted July 6 (edited) The new version "Arial Vanilla Sexism.7z" uploaded on 28/06/2026 doesn't work for me. I tested it on guards and only vanilla lines showed up. The old version "Arial Vanilla Sexism.zip" uploaded on 06/06/2025 works for me. I also tested it on guards and sexist lines showed up alongside vanilla lines. I don't see any differences in the scripts for both versions, so maybe there are some differences in the plugins? Like the conditions for Dialog Topic INFO or Quest? Edited July 6 by Dnalorgnauq
chingoblingers Posted July 6 Posted July 6 For myself testing at 0 frequency. Having both the main file and voices. No base game npc has the voicelines (or at least most). I ran around for 30 mins (naked just in case) spam talking to guards and regular npcs multiple times.Hod in river wood was the only one who said one line after about 40 attempts then never again. I did find out however that the fake npcs added from the grand solitude mod spammed the voicelines. All the women repeated the draugr line + dont go into the inn, and the men said a few various ones.
