Whatever happened to Elias

Recommended Posts

Hi there. So I am new to Loverslab, but not all that new to modding. I followed Elias's skyrim LE modding guide in 2020 to mod my skyrim to great success. Now a few years later I have the itch to play the game again and I want to mod it again.

So I figured I would watch the same guy who's guide I followed in 2020. But I see he hasn't updated the 2019 guide on Ai Cave and his own personal channel hasn't uploaded anything since around 2022-2023.

Does anyone know what happened to him? I would love to see him make an up to date guide to modding skyrim.

You are looking for a guide. The guy who wrote the guide you previously used has not updated the guide since 2019 and has not been active for two or three years. You expect him to drop everything and update his guide just because you want to get back into Skyrim.

The links I provided are uptodate and still maintained.

I'm not asking for a guide. I'm genuinely curious as to what happened to Elias. The title says it. What happened to ai Elias.

Again. Saying I would love to see him update his guide and just generally seeing in my opinion one of the more interesting Skyrim modders to be active again isn't me asking for a guide. The English language is actually a fairly straightforward and simple language.

I would love to see a person do X.

Implies I hope the person does X thing again.

I would like a guide on X please.

I am asking for a guide on a particular subject.

See the difference.

The inference of your OP is that you are seeking a guide and would like to use the same one you used previously. If you just wanted to contact this guy then you could have easily omitted any reference to guides. Why would you wish him to update his guide if you have no intention of using it?

I posted the links to good, uptodate resources so you could begin modding Skyrim without having to find this guy, persuade him to update his guide then wait while he completes his task.

Mansplaining. Mansplainers, be they male, female or non-binary, love to answer the question they want you to have asked. Because they don't have an answer to the question you actually asked.

and then they continue to argue with you saying that there is inference when there wasn't any inference like bruh I am the OP I know what I freaking asked.

Hallo zusammen!

As the course of this thread has shown, no one seems to know for sure why the "guide creator" you named hasn't been active for six years.

So if you don't want to use alternative guides now, you'll probably have to find out the exact whereabouts of this person yourself... and also ask him personally to create a mod guide for you.

Your thread title was a question but the OP was a series of eight statements in which the word 'guide' was mentioned four times. In none of your posts do you mention, imply, or infer any other reason for finding this guy other than his guide.

And if I knew what happened to this Elias fellow, I would say so.

Apart from that not being what mansplaining means, it is not what I did. I did not answer a question - I responded to a set of statements.
