Can anyone explain this?

I dont know why but my devious devices just wont equip or to be more specific, they wont even appear on my char.  ((I have all the correct mods installed for it to work but it just wont for some reason))

First of all, make a test on a New Game with a normal character = Standard Base Game Nord Female.

I noticed that you have a pretty large lady char there. Have you built the devious devices stuff in Bodyslide using the preset for your character? According to your screenshot they ARE equipping to your character but what may be happening is that due to the size of your character the mesh for the clothing/armor is actually INSIDE your character because it is so much smaller. 

 

TLDR: Build the devious device stuff in Bodyslide using your character's preset. If you did not make your character in Bodyslide or did not make a preset then you will need to rebuild your character body again and this time save a preset of it. Going forward you can then use that to reshape all other mods clothing/armor to fit your character. 

 

If all of that still isn't working then it may be an issue with devious devices itself and out of my league to diagnose.

i dont think that is the main issue. but thx for the replay. its like when i equip devious armor before back in the day ((just a few months ago)) i never hade this issue before. it doent even equip like collars. its like its regestered as equiped but nothing is showing up. Have rebuilt a few times but it hasnt worked. I am at the end of my rope and have no idea how to fix it. =S 

 

But i will start a new game with a base nord and do nothing with the body and try and see if it fixes it.

New game, clean slate no sliders moved or touched. its really weird this. I have never hade this issue before.

it doesnt even register the gear as it should. 

 

Like asking if i am sure if i want to equip it or not.

Have you run BodySlide? Is clearly said in the FAQ of DD:

 

Q: Why are the bundled items changing my body when equipped? Why are some items invisible? Why is everything so messed up???
A: Use Bodyslide, Luke! It's listed in the requirements for a reason. You need to actually build the assets with Bodyslide!

That is a different problem. If you not get the dialog saying if you want Equip/Unequip or Lock/Unlock you can have a mod overwriting DD.

Or you are using items that NOT come from DD. Maybe from other mod that not use the DD lock system.

 

Also, you must run BodySlide over the items from the other mod to make them show.

look, i have built the outfits in the bodyslider. I am not new to this. I have hade these mods before and have hade no issues before. I just dont know why it wont work. I batch build ofc because going through all of them individually takes a LONG time xD ((besides, there has never been a problem before)) So i have genually no idea whats going on.
