Fotogen Posted April 30, 2025 Posted April 30, 2025 No. Sort of. It has better character creation menu. It also comes with NiOverride and this is required by a lot of other mod. Its does all those tatoo and body overlays and dynamic body resize and so on. Body morphs.
MadMansGun Posted April 30, 2025 Posted April 30, 2025 it just depends on what mods you want to use, i've been fine without it.

anjenthedog Posted April 30, 2025 Author Posted April 30, 2025 (edited) thanks. That answers that question. So Skyrim has a set of internal function in its vanilla format (ie no mods) for handling the player's visual assembly. Thanks so by extension then, unless it's overwritten or overridden by some added mod that takes over its management, Skyrim itself is responsible for "rendering" the player (ie assembling and displaying his or her diffuse, specular, normal, etc maps) Edited April 30, 2025 by anjenthedog clarity
jfraser Posted April 30, 2025 Posted April 30, 2025 yes. if you started a game of skyrim without any mods whatsoever, of course the game would be able to render your character, with all required parts. it would just be super pinched-faced and ugly XD 1
