MY LOAD IS A MESS!!! [NEED HELP]

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

need help fixing my load order. it's too big for me to redo everything and i can't find the culprit. been troubleshooting for a month now. still not working!

first, my fnis is showing a 2012 error. missing .hkx files, then when i managed to run skse it starts crashing at random points.

I'm just gonna dump my csv here and let me know if you see anything wrong.

ask me questions if you must, im tired of this shit and thinking of quitting completely if this doesn't work soon.

Some info on my setup: I am using MO2, didn't use any modlist. don't use enb (if that helps). using FNIS with creature and XXL addon. installed through MO2 (there are some screenshots of my setup in comments, don't wanna clog the post with unnecesarily extra stuff).

Spoiler

im also facing the said fnis 2012 error which i also posted sometimes ago (can see on my profile)

idk if it can be fixed or do i have to ditch the entire load but i'd be damn glad if it works. so any help is appreciated!

Thanks!

I don't suppose you read any guides before installing 300 mods?

You have provided next to no information but it seems you are running Skyrim v1.5.97, or at least you have a mod for that version installed. Whatever version of Skyrim you have you need to ensure that the mods are compatible for that version. This is especially true for mods using dlls such as SKSE.

i do read guides, but you can imagine that managing 300 mods isn't very easy for a rookie, i've been modding for 3 years and the pile of mods is a result of 1000 days of searching and installing mods.

to answer the question: Yes, i use skyrim Special Edition 1.5.97 and not AE. i have mods downloaded in accordance with the version and game edition. and I'm literally clueless about what's causing the issue here so that's why i provided almost no info on the error. It's straight up crashing on me at random points. i've tried disabling-enabling method for almost the entire list (except for sounds and essential mods like xpmse and utils) and it never works.

I'm just gonna disable every mod that tinkers with scripting and leave the meshes and dialogues mods and see if i manage it to get working.

Thanks!

And did you bother to check what is compatible and what is not?

Since , as you state , you install just for the sake of it , don't be surprised that you have problems, you should instead think carefully about what you do 🤬

This problem , usually occurs with incompatible/missing mods , or , when skeleton is overwritten . Reinstall XPMSE , or , remove the incompatibilities

This is yours, from a previous thread for the same problem. Did you install XPMSE with additional options? No good

(idk how to micro-quote so i'll just use numbering to answer your questions)

1. The guides present at the nexus page or the LL page.

2. Yes, I do check (with the best of my abilities) what's compatible and what's not, but since i have so many mods i can't pinpoint and match each new mod with the rest of the 299 mods.

3. chill out, friend. I do know the consequences of my actions and i'm not even surprised that i got these issues. that's why im here in the first place. though i apologize if i sound annoying in this thread.

4. I had FSMP and it was causing my game to boot-crash, so i removed it and it seems to get me past the main menu (only to then crash at the actual game)

I'll see FSMP reinstalled after deleting some [not so necessary] mods.

5. I have FNIS XXL.

6. I guess I'll uninstall smp as a whole and just keep the CBPC

7. Yes I cleaned the DLC's with xEdit. (though i doubt that's an issue since i've been having those uncleaned since the beginning of time and it never caused a problem) still i cleaned em off just in case. still no success

8. Yes. I use LOOT (the only one i know and it's latest version as of today)

9. I reinstalled the xpmse a shit ton of times. deleted the zip and installed from nexus again. no success. then i disabled EVERY single mod and just left xmpse and fnis and it was still causing issues. there was literally no animations to load and it was still saying "missing male(/female)behaviour.hkx

I also tried installing that D-won Skeleton. didn't work!

In fact, it only serves to prevent problems caused by duplicates. It is a step that often, is omitted

Installation error and/or corrupted animations , or error installation FNIS

FNIS Error (2012) with Skyrim SE 1.5.97  According to what they say here , the source of the problem lies precisely in FNIS . The problem was solved by simply uninstalling FNIS and, manually installing it

Not to be critical and/or repetitive, who knows why , I don't use MO2/Vortex for modding 🙄

Since all the deep questions seem to have been asked, how about the basics?

Do you use a mod manager like MO2 or Vortex?  How did you set it up to run FNIS?  Can you share a screenshot of the setup?

First problem:  uninstalling a mod and reinstalling it without understanding what you did wrong won't fix anything.  Doing it "a shit ton of times" won't change that.

Second problem:  your game is SE.  This forum is for Classic Skyrim/LE.  There are a few people who are familiar with both LE and SE and have offered to help, but by posting this issue here you have limited the number of people who potentially could have helped you due to having similar experiences themselves.  The proper forum for your post is https://www.loverslab.com/forum/73-technical-support-skyrim-special-edition/

Third problem:  you haven't provided enough information for anyone to help you.  What mod manager do you use?  When did your game stop working?  Did it ever work, or did you just install 100+ mods and get upset because it didn't work?  Are you using a modlist?

P.S. perhaps you should not be using this animation pack.

I will not post further responses to this thread as long as it remains in the classic Skyrim/LE forum.  Ask a moderator to move the thread to the proper forum by clicking the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the post and select 'Report' and provide an explanation to the moderation staff.  They should move the thread to the SE tech support forum if you request it.

I use MO2. the guide that i watched when starting used MO2 so i just did the same and stick with it, though i did convert at some point being fed up with the errors but vortex style of handling conflicting was too confusing for a MO2-user. installed through MO2, set up the executables and ran. it never gave me any problems in the past and i've always used it in this manner.

Here's a couple of Screenshots from MO2:

Also, another thing that i noticed is that even though I am using BHUNP with nude settings, the body doesn't replace. it's still vanilla body with just the skin mod that i use. idk if it helps the cause here but i am facing this issue too.

and yes i have batch built the BHUNP bodies through Bodyslide.

i've tried changing skin mods, disabling-enabling them, loading them before and after each other. there's still vanilla body with skin mesh whichever i used.

When you remodel in Bodyslide, read the path that tells you ,It should be Skyrim Data\Meshes\Actors\Character\Character assets  . If not, take all the files from the Bodyslide path, and paste them into the one indicated

This is a problem I also experienced with MO2 by modding Fallout 4 , I solved it, taking the files from one side , to paste them from the other side

I think you will have to start all over again. Delete everything you installed there along with the game. Clean your computer from residual files. Install the game. Run loot and follow its recommendations for cleaning the game master files. Clean automatically via SSEedit, do not delete anything manually. Then install all system mods taking into account their compatibility with your version of the game. skse, library, engine fix, Papyrus, SPID. FNIS, Body slide and so on (there are a lot of them, actually). Then physics. You need both of them, otherwise you won't be able to use physics clothes and hair. Faster HDT SMP the latest version gave me errors, so I use 50-7-rc1. Then male and female bodies. Then the skeleton. The skeleton should overwrite everything it requests. Run FNIS. If everything is fine, start installing sexlab. The most important thing is to make sure that your system mods match the game version and then everything will work out.

Here's another thing. When you install a clean game, run it. Set up the graphics and check the functionality of the game itself in the initial quest, the cart, Helgen. Then install Loot and I would recommend Wrye Bash, an excellent program that will point out errors and incompatibilities in versions of some ESPs that you download later, plus it generates level lists.

Looks like you will be quitting then.

The links I posted have everything you need for a stable, modded game. The time you spend now reading and following them will pay off later. If you are wanting a no effort from you quick and easy solution then that is not going to happen.

update: i managed to get the game running, idk how but it loads the save and is now running.

though my other concerns are that FNIS 2012 error which i am still getting and another thing is that my BodyReplacer (BHUNPnude) isn't working. i am just stuck at vanilla bodies with skin mod. also sexlab animations are not working either, the character just stand there whilst the game loads animations, i hear the moans and all but no animation (probably the aftermath of that fnis 2012 error).

There are videos on YT for both these mods. GamerPoets are always a good place to start.

that's where i started iirc. about 2-3 years ago

btw if i restart with everything, the thing is that i have so many mods that i can't go on and download each one again because i'd most likely forget the ones i need or it'll take too long) so do you have any idea through which i can easily re-download all these mods after i refresh my stuff?

You could use MO2 to produce a mod list and a plug-in list.

You could create a new profile in MO2.

You could deselect all your mods in your current profile and re-select them a few at a time.

i heard there's a reddit bot that provided with links of the mods mentioned? maybe i can use that, will speed up the procedure a bit i have a CSV file of my mods, maybe i can bulk generate links and download each mod one-by-one?

edit: i have already re-installed skyrim and removed every mod and launched skyrim, went through the intro and is now ready for another start (meaning i don't have any mods installed so i can't do the "deselect and re-select" strategy, nor the changing profile one)
