RedHeadAngel Posted April 22, 2025 Posted April 22, 2025 Ever since I installed OBody NG, I've been having this weird thing where breasts on female characters get pushed together. But after using the unequipall command, the breasts go back to normal? On my character, it happens when I equip gear. But when I unequip it, I understand that this may be more related to the gear, but is there some way to turn this off? For the record, I use 3BA.
Dodzh Posted April 22, 2025 Posted April 22, 2025 It is possible that the gear/accessory you are using was not made or does not have the proper BodySlide for your character's body shape. If the armor was made for the body you are using, then run BodySlide. Not all gear/cloth/accessories mods provide BodySlide files for you to run this, so good luck.
Count Chocula Posted April 22, 2025 Posted April 22, 2025 I find OBody to be more trouble than it's worth. No doubt I am doing something wrong (or not doing something right) but I see issues similar to the OP. Plus, every woman's breasts are gigantic, like approaching "circus freak" gigantic. And I'm not really clear on what the purported benefits of OBody are supposed to be.
Anunya Posted April 22, 2025 Posted April 22, 2025 (edited) It's a setting in the MCM, you can turn it off. I forget what it's called (ORefit or Outfit manager or something like that), but it's to do with giving a push up effect when wearing clothes. Turn it off, put on some clothes, and take the clothes off again and it should work. Edited April 22, 2025 by Anunya

OBody takes all your presets and distribute them to all the NPCs. If you're seeing bodies you don't want to you can either remove the preset (i.e. delete or uninstall it) or edit the json. You can do a lot with the json (limit specific bodies to specific races, exclude some presets altogether, assign a preset to a specific NPC etc), but it's a bit of work if you're not used to it. If you want an easy way to have non-weird OBody distribution, uninstall all your presets (if you have a lot), and then reinstall only the ones you want to see in the game. I simply don't use OBody because the benefit seems pointless to me. But I definitely appreciate your suggestions. So, thanks.
Grey Cloud Posted April 22, 2025 Posted April 22, 2025 What @Anunya said plus some presets come with a naked and a clothed version. The latter is designed to simulate the breasts being affected by the constraints of the clothes/armour. You can either remove the clothed versions or just hit O in game and select a different preset from the list. A third option would be to edit the preset in BS to get the breasts how you want them and save it.

You don't have to do this at all. oBody has a file where you can write all the bodies you want to exclude. And these bodies will not appear among NPCs

However, it was the stupid ORefit option, as @Anunya stated. I didn't know that was something that came with the mod, as I previously believed it was something separate from OBody. 1 hour ago, chocula said: I find OBody to be more trouble than it's worth. Is it possible that you have a mod that messes with OBody? 1 hour ago, Dodzh said: It is possible that the gear/accessory you are using was not made or does not have the proper BodySlide for your character's body shape. All outfits I have are made for 3BA. That's something I always check before even considering downloading them.

No idea about the ORefit option as I can't remember the last time I looked at the MCM.

I use a mod called Cheat Room, and with it is a spell that allows me to change the default outfits for NPCs. For whatever reason, even though I used it to remove Belle's clothing, it still registered that she had torso armor equipped, which was why her breasts were like that. After fiddling with that, I got it to work as intended. Now, is there a way I can change this for certain outfits? I would like to remove the effect for the piercings.
