Anytime, @rednumbyoda. I'm a firm believer in the idea that nudity is not explicitly sexual.

It's the posing, situation, facial expression, or even sometimes the presence of clothing that makes things sexual, if you ask me.

Everyone has a naked body, and they should be allowed to just be.

I'm happy you have liked it so much.

Heart Gold & Soul Silver Nude Mod Project update 16:

 

The Page 69 Update

 

Okay so we're not quite done yet.

I did a final check of the present sprites and realized that some actually were not in the game.

The ones that have been added are:

• Battle:

1. Female swimmer
2. Male swimmer
3. Male Psychic

• Overworld:

1. Bugsy
2. Will
3. Koga
4. Bruno
5. Janine
6. Blue

 

The final update approaches. 

I just need to:

1. Complete the secret.
2. Do another attempt at editing the textures used to represent overworld sprite in the opening as the camera soars over the cities.
3. Wait for Mx. Downbad to finish Shaved Silver's title screen.
4. Make the alternate images for sprites that have multiple genders in them for the male-only and female-only patches. (just five this time)

And then, we're crystal clear.

I'm trying to find this ShammyBeingLewd's mod, but on this website and on google the only result I really get is you mentioning it a few different times.

The Japanese versions of the ROMs are very different in terms of code.

You'll need to wait until I supply all of the base images in the final update and then you can add everything in Tinke yourself.

Maybe we'll go back and edit them for Platinum eventually.

Now, all we need for HGSS to be fully complete is to find out how to edit the Hall of Fame sprites.

So, to any spriters that are here, feel free to have first pickings on the GSC sprites, since that's the next project we are working on.

Aw shoot, ignore that.

Some sprites already have edits from the motherloads, but this time I wanted to refrain from relying on the motherloads too much since 90% of those sprites are uncredited (due to no fault of the compiler. It's really hard to give all of those sprites sources) and they don't always respect the original pose and proportions, preferring to be sexual (which is not what we want here) over being accurate.

But I guess that since that cat is out of the bag, we can use this Jasmine too. Every other sprite edit had some sort of problem, in my opinion.

Note that Chris/Ethan's front sprite is different between Gold/Silver and Crystal. My sprite is based on the Crystal version.

Red's front sprite in GSC is probably identical to Red's sprite from Yellow except it's mirrored.

If you mean for the DS games, I don't really know too well on finding these sprites.

For the GBC games, I only know to work on the decomp project where I could find these sorts of things easily by looking into the organised "gfx" folder.

I was talking about the GBC games.

The decomp file seems to lump Oak in with the rest of the trainer front sprites. So, maybe he won't be an issue.

I'm gonna try to use this for the GSC project. (Once HGSS is done.) My main concern with using the disassemblies is how to patch the sprites into custom ROMs, like Crystal Legacy or something like that.

I'm totally new to Gen 2 editing, so there will be a bit of a learning curve for me.
