Hm. I'm not much of a fan of this one, but I can't tell why. Maybe it's the neck or the boobs? Maybe the arm feels too diagonal?

(I'm probably just not used to seeing it without the bow)

Or maybe I'm just tired. Today was a long day for me.

Elite 4 is DONE done (also holy shit that Koga portrait is probably the most difficult one I've had to edit yet but I'm proud of how the arm turned out)

You basically had to make the whole thing from scratch.

Bruno has like the thickest bottom in the game, can you blame him?

For a Jasmine's VS sprite bit, I think it's because the inner line of her right arm (our left) curves into the breast, specifically on the spot where her ribbon used to cover. Pixel art tend to make a noticable difference even with just a dot offset.

There is a difference between naturist and nudism. And I tend to prefer a mix of the two.

 

 

Yeah, this is a reason why many of us still wear some form of footwear. If the ground was always soft and had no potential for damage (Glass, burns, cuts, bugs, etc) then we wouldn't really wear them. Sandals are great for casual wear and boots/shoes for out and about.

 

Gonna throw my two cents in as someone who was part of a nudist club before moving. Nudists wear clothes.

Going to the club I've seen people be unsurprisingly naked. But I've also seen people in bath robes, just a t-shirt, a sarong. I've seen people bare feet, jandels/sandels and even running shoes.

 

It's important to note that while nudists view nudity as normal, it doesn't mean they hate clothes.

 

And clothes/accessories can help show off more about a character, their personality and their role in the story.

So I'm on board with leaving some clothes and accessories on people. Makes the world feel more real to me.

I edited Erika's sprite a little bit to make her back shaded with brown in all left & right facing panels and darkened her nipples a little so they wouldn't fade in with the skin shading.

 

Also, I edited her leg in this sprite a little just to test. Idk how to fix the other one (at the bottom of the post).

I think that if anything needs a revision, it's her left and right facing sprites.

The walking sprite that Game Freak gave her is super strange. Is she tiptoe-ing?

Is Erika's black thing on her foot on overworld sprites supposed to be her tabi? If so, I propose to color it white like her front sprite's, it looks mismatching.
I suppose it was colored black in vanilla because it was overshadowed by her kimono in bird's eye view, but here her feet area is exposed.

I dunno if its just me, but in the upper sprite for Erika, her thigh looks really thick.
