Also I tried my best with Erika! The first sprites in her animation are based off of the Motherload, but the other ones are done all by me baby!

Her hands in her second two sprites are kind of weird but thats what Pokemon gave me : P

Also her kimono covers what her hand is doing but I chose to just have her limp wristing it. : )

Her battle sprite is genuinely so cute. The limp wrist makes me think she's like a cat girl doing the "nya" pose.

And yeah, if someone wants to edit Erika's battle sprites, they're more than welcome. Her arms are really hard to perfect.

Lol thank you! I'm really glad you like what I did with the portrait.

I think it's just really hard to connect her hands in a way that looks good for her last two battle sprites

Looking at the portrait again, maybe she needs more shadows under her arm or she needs her back to be a little less curved?

The hand is perfect, but maybe the body needs work.

I'll let y'all decide.

A small Lance inconsistency I noticed.

His front sprite has one sleeve normal and one his bare arm, but his back sprite has no sleeves.

The overworld sprite also has no sleeves.

I don't wanna rush you guys, cuz I know you guys have plenty of irl commitments (especially viewer), but I was just wondering if the first version of HairyGold would be available by next Wednesday or Thursday. I'm gonna be going out of town for Labor Day weekend, and I'd love to be able to load it on my DS and take it with me on my vacation.

I should be able to get that done! I was thinking of making this next update a Shaved Silver + Hairy Gold one regardless.

I should be able to finish the front sprites this weekend. (Within the next three days)

Due to the way that the sprites are edited up, it should be easy enough for me to just edit most of the existing Platinum spriets as TInke sees them and just add in the hair there.

All other edited sprites (besides Lyra's back sprites since she still has a frame clothed, and the just-added Misty overworld sprites) are in a completed state.

However, I think Karen's VS Face could use another pass. The boobs don't quite line up.

And same for the battle sprites.

Maybe ShammyBeingLewd's top half of Karen could be combined with your bottom half.

Though their VS Face doesn't get it quite right either.

Maybe we can come back around to Karen later.

I'll just keep Erika and Karen as pink for the time being.

I don't know if it's just me, but I feel like her nipples are a different color between her vs sprite and regular battle sprites.

I haven't caught up on every page of this thread yet so sorry if this is no longer relevant.

I scraped each trainer class's bulbapedia page for their Gen IV appearances, and then scraped the page for each of those locations for the sprite that trainer was listed with (which contains every instance that the trainer is battled, including their GSC appearances, or multiple battles with the same trainer). 

The result is under the "johto_all_trainers" tab in that sheet,

 

Then I just filtered it for HGSS appearances only in the "hgss_unique_trainers" tab.

And lastly just filtered for unique sprites in general, which is the main "hgss_unique_sprites" tab.

 

The result was...underwhelming? Kind of like... after all that back and forth, I didn't really find anything that wasn't already expected.

 

**I should note that I'm not confident that the list is exhaustive, nor if bulbapedia can even be trusted in instances where a trainer might use an alternate sprite for the same class. Nor that I know what the hell I'm talking about in the first place lol.
