Check the first page. I just added a new tutorial for patching the rom.

  If I had a quarter for every time someone asked how to patch the ROM, I'd probably be able to buy a sandwich.

The pl_pokegra.narc files are just for if you want to add the moemon sprites to any ROM without using deltapatcher, since that program sometimes defaults the game to a white screen if too many patches are applied at once.

You're basically just swapping one file (the one highlighted in light gray) out for another one (one of the two files in the zip that are not xdelta files.

I like that idea, as someone who would prefer "Shaved Silver" over "Hung Gold". Maybe "Smooth Silver" instead? Both work imo.

I don't need to know how use Tinke to do one specific thing. Just tell me what I need to do and I'll do it. Also I'm assuming I still need to apply the nude patch after swapping the sprites in the ROM itself? Also where can I find a Rev1 of Platinum?

Hey, as long as I can still get my hot girls with pubes, you can do what you want with the rest, lol. I've said before I really don't care about the guys. Hung/tiny, boner/flaccid, etc doesn't really matter all that much to me.

Ugh.

Just found a new annoying type of sprite to edit.

To edit a Diamond and Pearl front sprite or back sprite, you have to do so much.

1. Extract the entire narc the sprite is located in.
2. Use PokeDSPic to open that narc.
3. Save the image to your computer as a png.
4. Edit the image however you need to.
5. Convert that file to .bmp.
6. Save it.
7. Convert the .bmp file to .png.
8. Open the png.
9. Write to the narc.
10. Change the narc file in Tinke.

And then of course you save the ROM.

 Attached is update 2 of Pokemon Pussy Pearl.

I added miscellaneous sprites this time, like the intro sprites, ending sprites, and trainer card sprites.

Now all this game needs are the front sprites, back sprites, the overworld sprites for Dawn and Lucas, and the hall of fame entry sprites.

Let me know if the back sprites are in or if there are errors with them.

Once this is done, I'll start work on the miscellaneous patches and port these sprites to Diamond.

I think i did say Platinude was randomizer compatible a page ago. Though I did word it in a way that might imply its only compatible with the UPR (Universal Pokemon Randomizer).

True, since I believe Renegade Platinum was built using the Xenophobia version, which Platinude cannot be applied to yet.

The Xenophobia version will come after I get all the sprites together.

All I use Deltapatcher for is to move the patches to and from ROM to xdelta to share with you guys. I don't use it to add to an existing Platinude ROM. That's what Tinke is for.

Tinke, and the various sprite editing applications, are the only programs I use when making a patch.

If you're interested, I could share a pseudo-open-source folder system with all the sprites in them in their respective locations, once I have all of Diamond and Pearl's sprites in there.

That way, anyone who knows how to use Tinke can pick and choose which files they want.

If someone wants just the mom to be nude, just the important trainers with VS Faces naked, or just Dawn's overworld sprites, then they can do so!

I'd probably underestimate how much to explain, but it could be neat for y'all.

Oh I didn't know that about xenophobia, glad I saw this. I patched it using that version last night but then realized I wanted to run it through a randomizer to at least fix trade evos, so I deleted that patch. Now I know to do it right lol

Discord is not a good host for that because CDN links to Discord attachments get expired like 24 hours or 2 weeks.

I swear though, we used to be able to upload GIFs directly on this forum.
