Yeah, they are temporary. The nude sprite is the only one staying for sure. But if nobody makes nude sprites for Rowan and Looker, we will probably end up changing those pieces of dialogue, so keep collecting them.

Hey I just started following this, do you guys have a guide i should follow to patch this in or how does it work? Is there a way to make this work using homebrew magic?

You're going to need a rom of Pokemon Platinum (USA) (Rev1) as that's the specific version the patch is for, the patch itself and some kind of rom patcher, like Delta patcher (though i personally use the patcher from romhacking.net)

I gotta say, though, I'm rather enjoying being essentially a beta tester for this shit. I'm finally feeling like I'm actually contributing to the project, instead of just lurking around in this forum thread.

Found another one. I don't think Old Timer is really gender specific, but it does still feel weird calling that cute dork old.

I found another glitch, but I wasn't able to get a picture snapped in time. In the Veilstone Pokémon Center, there's a news crew you battle once per day. The cameraman's leg is cut off. Since you can rebattle them every day, hopefully I'll remember to do it again tomorrow and take a picture.

That double battle sprite has been a pain in my neck for a while. I had no idea his leg was cut off too!

I'm also sorry I haven't been active and made a new version by now. Real life has been really busy recently.

I should be able to get something out by Monday evening, hopefully.

If you have anything else to add between now and then, let me know and we can include it in 7-2-2.

i think it would be kind of a shame to just take out the other Viewier sprites and only have the nude one since so much work was put into them. personally i kind of like the idea of having her be the professor instead of Rowan, and i think it could be fun to have her appear clothed at first but give her some dialogue about changing clothes or something then have her appear naked later on (of course, i have no idea how much work something like that would be to implement or if it's even possible so feel free to ignore this)

I don't think there's necessarily need to go that far, but I do enjoy having the cute dork girl replace the professor and Looker. I certainly don't mind having all her clones running around in different outfits.

They did not appreciate their sprites being edited without contacting them first.

Please don't edit other people's sprites without asking for permission from now on.

 

If you want your sprites removed, that's okay despite it being disheartening for us.

Wait, what happened? Who edited their sprites? In what way were they edited? Were they edited for this project? Or did somebody steal them for something else? Does that mean the next update will remove any sprites that were already in it?

The only upside of CelestialArrow pulling his sprites out of the project is that now we have less edits needed.

We only need Aaron's battle sprites and the old lady overworld sprites and we'll be all good, thanks to Catnatic's help this last update.
