oscillatewildlier Posted June 30 Posted June 30 I encountered an issue with the latest version where the starters’ normal-type moves seem to be the type of the pokemon instead? So for instance Charmander’s scratch was fire type, believe Bulbasaur’s tackle was grass type but I don’t think squirtle’s tackle was water type… Not sure how far this goes like if it extends to all those starters’ normal type-moves or anything else but thought I’d mention it just in case.

I believe it was fire red fairy alt and possibly regular fairy as well…though I feel like I tried leaf green (fairy or fairy alt) too and was seeing the same behavior. So not sure if it has something to do with fairy type inclusion maybe? Haven’t tried any of the other patches besides fairy yet so could try that and see what happens. 2

I didn't really test the fairy type patch, so there are probably a lot of weird things in it. 1

This is the last time I will be making patches for Fire Red. Now I must find out how Black & White's file system works and potentially start work on setting up my system to work with gen 1 in the case that Catnatic will be unavailable. Zorai Posted July 1 Posted July 1 I think fan games would be nice once the mainline games are done, and only if Viewer and the team wants to do them. I don't know if yall would want permission from the creators first though before doing them. I would like to see Unbound and Odyssey get the nudist treatment personally if fan games get put on the table for it. 2

I do want to assume we'd ask permission to make nudist hacks for fangames and I'd assure them that we'd make the mods nonsexual. It's different than Game Freak, who hates modding in general. I know how people can get when it comes to nudity, even if its entirely none sexual like here.

Just don't ever bring it up in their server or forum. I would know because I have an account on their site and am in their server. v14 of Rejuv releases on the 13th btw. I would know because I have an account on their site and am in their server. v14 of Rejuv releases on the 13th btw. yeah and i'm pretty sure nova devs are the same way. i don't speak spanish but i've already seen mods for this game. so i don't think they really care, but don't quote me on that. not every dev is like undertale yellow devs where they are so OVER protective of their characters they will even silence artists. most of the chill devs don't like being around people who like to censor others so. and most artists i'd imagine feel that same way the "as long as its not cheating and i don't see it then i don't care" mindset.
