davidporter89 Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 REALLY!? no parkway drive? the most brutal breakdown. also one of the hardest songs i have ever learned. right after yippy ki-yay mother-f*cker - most epic fadeout, good song to begin learning how to play metal, and personally one of my favorites as it was inspired by watching a loved one die from emphysema. - i also really like the band "shoot the girl first". it's different but epic just the same. give it a chance if you've had a woman crush you. - and one for the wierdos, but truly brutal. that girl can toilet bowl (growl) like no other. - enjoy or tell me what bad taste i have lol.
radech Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 /thread or not, but needs more live! the artist is just the facilitator, the crowd makes it brutal
Thor446 Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 I came here thinking I would be disappointed, but no, definitely not. But anyway, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4JizavG4cE

gvman3670 Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Thanks for pointing me to more enjoyable metal. Here's some older stuff that I cut my metal teeth on. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-t0affoV5rI
NexusVetX94 Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 This seems like an appropriate place to put the most brutal book reading of all time as a tribute to Dave Brockie (definitely NSFW): its to bad gwar look like power ranger rejects lol na everyone has a music taste each to they're own i guess still better than rnb crap ( i only listen to metal )
ratrace Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Thought it might fit in LL: and this for the romantic evenings: and this for cutting each others head off after passionate love making - though not metal, somehow very fist-in-face
DorkDiva Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Here you want punishing, I give you something punishing on a grand monolithic scale. I own two releases from them, I have nothing bad to say at all about either one, both are...well... judge for yourself.
Eternally_Dark Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Ha! I like this thread already. My top 5 in no particular order:Power Glove: Soilwork: Devin Townsend Project: In Flames: (Live, because hell yes.) And a local Canadian band from Southern Ontario that disbanded after releasing this gemApotheoses:http://www.reverbnation.com/apotheoses/song/16949574-hindsight
FastestDogInTheDistrict Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 This seems like an appropriate place to put the most brutal book reading of all time as a tribute to Dave Brockie (definitely NSFW): R.I.P. Dave Brockie! I only saw this guy interviewed recently while watching "Headbanger's Journey" and "Metal Evolution", but he seemed really cool and thoughtful.
