Hello everyone!

While looking through some old mod files on my hard drive, I noticed that I still had a small mod left that hadn't been released yet - which I'm including here:

Body Adjustment Mod „Yumia Normal & Light Standard Costume“ (Atelier Yumia)

image.png.b6f60b5af43e5331b7afe1a3fd94b297.pngI'm almost certain I've seen one or another variation of this modification here in the thread, so consider it an additional variant and not something completely new ;).

This mod slightly adjusts both of Yumia's standard costumes, the one with and without the jacket - more specifically, this version uses the legs and lower body of the test bikini model.

The hips, lower legs and thighs are also slightly more adapted to the shape of the bikini model, i.e. slightly wider than normal.

The skirt and lower part of the bodice are also adapted to the new body shape to avoid clipping.

It's barely visible on screenshots and in-game, but honestly I originally made this mod just for consistency reasons, since Yumia's lower body is different depending on the costume.

It's not much, but at least I've published all the mods I've created so far now - the useable ones, anyway.

And that's it - see you then!

I love your lore friendly mod !! thanks

Yep this and the nipple bump mods are the only mods I'm using and I'm set for my first playthrough of this game.
thank you both!

I'm pretty new to mods or PC games, so please let me know. I'm planning to install a mod using a mod loader, but I'm not sure how to install a mod that only introduces the mod but doesn't have a link.

I want to start by saying I deeply reflected on my own behavior after receiving multiple harsh criticisms via direct message.

Consequently, my strong critical posts directed at QED led to QED suspending their modding activities.

I deeply regret that this action caused considerable inconvenience to many members of the community who were enjoying the mod.

I've already apologized to QED directly via DM. This incident has made me painfully aware of the significant impact my words have on others.

Moving forward, I promise to take greater responsibility for my statements and strive for constructive communication, ensuring I don't cause any more discomfort to anyone.

I sincerely apologize to the entire community for the significant trouble my inappropriate remarks have caused.

If you're using a mod loader, you won't be able to install mods unless they come with a direct download link.

There's no in-game mod loader with a search function for this game. We don't know which loader you're using,

but we recommend using the specialized mod loader available in this thread for this game.

Ok so I have the switch version and I've been at this for hours, and I just can't get yumia_mod_update_mod_metadata.exe to cooperate.

The output I keep seeing is as follows:

I also want to add that I'm using the romfs dump from switch USA version 1.2.0

I own the PC version so I cannot directly help, but it sounds like either your rdb is corrupted or files are missing. Did you dump everything, not just the update? ALL the fdata files need to be present because the tool has to crawl through all the original data to find the metadata necessary. There should be tens of gigabytes of fdata files and the current versions of the rdb files and everything else.

The password  omit '0x'

Hey all,

I've updated yumia fdata tools to version 1.1.0.  You can grab the latest release here.  This fixes the block alignment in .fdata files so that they match the original KT files.  As far as I can tell, this does not affect the game engine - it is mostly so that my tools can decode native .fdata files and that my .fdata files can be decoded by other tools such as fdata_dump.  Perhaps it will fix some crashes, I do not know; I have never experienced crashes.

Please note that the new version can read old mod files, but the old version cannot read new mod files!  End users should update to the latest version of yumia_mod_insert_into_rdb.exe.*  This includes users of the easy mod manager by @MangetsuC - please replace yumia_mod_insert_into_rdb.exe with the new version and add the following line to config.toml:

ignore_md5_check = true

*Assuming you want to install new mods...  otherwise don't worry about it!

Amazing!  I believe I know how to make mods reliably cross-platform.

Here are test builds for both my nude mod and my revealing mod.  I would very much appreciate it if you or someone can try them on Nintendo Switch and tell me if they work as expected.  I am also curious to know if these work on PS4.  (The camp version of the nude mod should already work, available here.)

AtelierYumiaNudeMod_crossplatformready.7z 25.84 MB · 212 downloads

AtelierYumiaRevealingMod_crossplatformready.7z 42.94 MB · 161 downloads

Instructions:

  • I suggest starting from a clean rip! (For Switch, be sure you dump the update files as well - dump the game then overwrite with the update.)
  • Put all included files in the Motor folder into your ripped game folder with all the .fdata files / root.rdb / root.rdx (/Atelier Yumia/Motor).
  • Run yumia_mod_update_mod_metadata.exe (included in download).  All the .yumiamod.json files and associated .fdata files will be rebuilt.
  • Run yumia_mod_insert_into_rdb.exe (included in download).  root.rdb and root.rdx will be modified.
  • Put the rebuilt files (.yumiamod.json files and associated .fdata files, root.rdb, root.rdx) into your layeredFS etc (I don't know the details, but @IronTie has put more detailed instructions specifically for Switch here).

Note: It seems that the .grp file that belongs to the .g1m / .ktid file is different between platforms.  Thank you to @woofhat for originally telling me how to replace one costume with another costume, as this was a big clue for me.  I knew his mods worked for switch (his mods have .grp files), and only my nude Lenja worked (this is the only mod I changed the .grp file), so I figured that this was the problem.  I am hopeful that now all my mods will work for other platforms, but testing is needed.

I just want to make a note for others.
Both of these are working on switch version 1.2.0

[Yumia Tilarism New Alchemist's Research Outfit, Beautiful Butt Style]

It will simultaneously replace Yumia's "Alchemist's Research Clothes" and "Alchemist's Research Clothes Light Wear."

(The above model is designed to be replaced at the same time to share textures.)

It has been confirmed to work with game version 1.2.0.

[Changes from the old version, etc.]

--The lower body has been remade based on a swimsuit model.

--> The volume on my lower body has been slightly increased. The hips have also changed shape.

-- The abdomen is set to a skin-based shader. (The reason the belt buckle is shiny is because the color of the base texture is changed to a glossy one.)

[Nina Tyramism New Mercenary's Battle Dress, Extremely Shiki Kai (Ver. 1.1.0)]

Nina_009.thumb.png.d212a322e442ad2ee82b163b846eb6c9.png

Replaces Nina's "Mercenary Battle Dress."

It has been confirmed to work with game version 1.2.0.

[Changes from the old version, etc.]

-->The previous version has aimed to eliminate modeling problems that potentially impair stability and improve stability.

Hello anyone know how to extract the game voice files? I have made some progress but the actual voice audio files are still missing.

What I have done:
- Extracted all .fdata and .file archives using yumia_mod_extract_files_from_fdata.py
- Extracted all available .srsa files but only got sound effects and UI sounds, no voice. There are still some .srsa file that could not be read by the simply put into vgmstream.
- Ran strings on the file but got no clear filenames or headers

- The data folder contains srst file but could not be opened by the DOA6 and current forum provided tools

Has anyone successfully extracted voice lines from this game or similar ones by Gust in this new format? I remember it could be easier in the Ryza series.
