How should clothing changes be implemented? This will be an optional feature with a seperate esp.

    • Replace vanilla clothes with various mods. (Pro-Easier on my part. Con-Might get rid of clothing players want.)
    • Edit each NPC to wear new clothes. (Pro-Saves vanilla clothing. Con-Will take much longer to do.)
    • Other (Please explain with a post.)

Can changing the outfits of scripted NPCs cause any problems? For example Baurus, who changes from his Blades Armour to some normal clothes in the part of the main quest at Luther Broad's Boarding House.

I like the Aquatic Elf that comes with XEOrc4 if you are going to use any Aquarmer variant that would be the one to use since it uses HGEC/Roberts Male.

No idea, but it seems some NPCs are treated a bit differently in the gender matter than others. For example, the random bandit NPC got gender-locked from the start of the game (using L World and later disabling it), while the IC Market District shopkeepers got reverted back to the male forms. And with the possible change comes the appropriate variant of clothing (being it male or female). It might be related to respawning, but I haven't checked the NPCs individually in CS.

When do you plan to release the first version of your mod??

 

Hoping to have all the faces done around the end of January? Then I'll release that version for testing and start working on the clothes. To be honest I could of had the faces done by now, but I've been procrastinating a lot.

If you need any help producing the faces I would be willing to aid you in that slightly mundane task :P. However, after the end of January, since I have like 3 exams this week and next 2 during the week after this one.

Hmm...I'm considering replacing some of the Imperials with custom races for the other vanilla races to get a bit more variation, since Imperials are way more common. It'd be nice to see more Elves and humanoids...

Also, a test patch that replaces the faces of all female NPCs will most likely be out on the 31st (GMT +11). I figured I may as well set myself a deadline otherwise I'll never get through the Imperial faces.

In addition to the Lop-Ears for the Bosmer replacement, you might think about the Kitsune race - the fox-girls, as it were. I really love mine, and they're very sexy, particularly if you're going for an anime theme. Also, I think that revealing to nearly-nothing are the armors you should focus on, and I believe, in the manga/hentai spirit, all armors should be weighted for BBB, but that's just me. :P

I really should update that post, I've changed around the races I'm using a lot. I'll probably use the Kitsune for one of the beast races, but I think that once I do the male-to-female patch I'll turn some of the Imperials into various other races. Plain old humans are boring :P

Well there are plenty of human races out there that are a lot cuter, and more anime-ish.

 

 

On another note, regarding the custom armors... What are your intentions for sizes? Will you have different versions for individual tastes?

For the body sizes I'm planning to use a variety of different body mods such as a few HGEC sizes, DMRA and pretty much anything else in the SetBody mod. This will mostly depend on what armours I end up using, so you can expect most NPCs to probably have some sort of HGEC or DMRA variant.

 

If I end up making a package of the custom races used, then high res skin textures will be placed within the package as an option. If I don't end up making the package however due to permission problems then it'll be up to the user to get the textures themselves.

 

As for the armour textures, I'll decide on those further down the line.

Just a small thought. I was recently playing with my remake of Restia the Miqote cutie. I removed the cat ears she had and left the cat tail alone. Looked pretty cute with the tail only ;). You might consider anime-ish animal races with normal ears and animal tails.

Using setbody, cant you set the body of npcs via a configuration option, out of game? (Think it was autosetbody).

 

Only problem is, you have to go do each npc manually... However, since you are already doing that...

What is that? A race mod? Looks perfect for some sort of loli addon later :P (Already asked a mod about this in case anybody was wondering. He said it was ok as long as it didn't contain any sexual content).

Don't know, where to get the clothes from Triratna's pic but all I know is, that it's a cloth from the Touhou character Flandre.

 

And take your time. There's no need for hasting it up - it's done, when it's done :D

Thanks for the mods guys. I'll have a play around with the Shinrabansho Spawns in the CK. Growlf's mod looks interesting, I'll make a note of it for when I start doing the outfits.

I hope this wioll be easier to work with than the L world mod...I can't seem to get it right and I wanna have some lesbian adventures in an all girl world : D
