guk Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Thanks, I think I finally figured it out. In the original, the weighting was the same in both the left and right arm bands. And they shouldn't have been, since one is a lot higher up on the arm. I suspect that's one cause of the clipping, since the arm was moving differently than the armbands. I, apparently, didn't pay enough attention to it, since you don't really need to add HDT to the arms. And when I tried to tweak it last time, I did not consider bone weighting right away and broke it further. Anyways, updated again. The updated link can be found in my original post, Here. The last update changed the item names to have "Aradia Kato" in front of the in-game name, now they're just called "Kato" again (unless i messed up my update).

I literally downloaded my conversions from the post, replaced the ShapeData folder and re-uploaded it. And the only thing I changed the first time was the texture swap on the ArmorAddon for the skirt to account for new object priorities in the event one of them gets zapped away. And I'll see about manufacturing half a foot. As mentioned the hands are not so obvious to see what's wrong with them, but they have this kind of weighting where they turn into "spaghetti" when they f.e. hold a sword and get all wrinkly when the hands get stretched. One of the fingers is also breaking off in the pic above (almost hurts to look at ) I first noticed this glitch some time ago when i had the "Feminine Hands for CBBE" mod installed, while the original CBBE hands don't have this issue. And quite a lot of outfits have this problem also in their original versions. About the feet, you should talk to kofman77 as he fixed exactly the same issue on his conversions for Black Lotus and Raging Moon 2.4.

If you want to remove the breastplate, open up the project in Outfit Studio and delete the 'BaseClip' Slider. I am not quite sure what I did wrong since I am not do any bodyslide/outfit conversion. Open project with Akabir Samurai.xml in OS, click Pencil icon to edit and select Slider->Delete Slider and then save project. Build armor with BS again and got this output. Outfit studio seems to have a problem with the bone setup, even though bodyslide doesn't. Tell you what, uninstall my conversion and download it fresh. Go into the 'Data/CalienteTools/Bodyslide/Shapedata/Akabir Samurai' folder and delete the file called, 'BaseShapeBaseClip.bsd' and build it like normal and try again. That should work, but if it doesn't let me know and I'll re-rig to be easier to work with. Hmm, you know I actually just put in whatever hand is in my data folder. I was assuming it was the standard cbbe, but I really have no idea. Anyways, I put in the actual cbbe hands this time, see if it helps. Thanks, the feet seem to be fixed. The hands still have the same issue though: akbi01-001.png I'm not sure why that's happening, I didn't change the skeleton at all. I'll try playing around some more when I get some time, or maybe ask some authorities about it. Edit: Updated original again, if you wouldn't mind testing it again. I looked at it briefly in game and I couldn't see any issues holding one/two handed swords. Unrelated though, I noticed she apparently doesn't use her entire hand to hold it when doing some attacks. I hope I forget about that, cause I don't really like that.

TnTTnT Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 That's my fault, you probably did it correctly. Outfit studio seems to have a problem with the bone setup, even though bodyslide doesn't. Tell you what, uninstall my conversion and download it fresh. Go into the 'Data/CalienteTools/Bodyslide/Shapedata/Akabir Samurai' folder and delete the file called, 'BaseShapeBaseClip.bsd' and build it like normal and try again. That should work, but if it doesn't let me know and I'll re-rig to be easier to work with. Everything look good in nifscope, will try it ingame later this evening after work. Don't worry too much about it, i think a lot of outfits have this problem I assume it's an issue with the weighting, and i don't know too much about that but always notice these things while testing and making screenshots. Guess i have quite an eye for details and anatomy I'll test the new update as soon as i have time, just made this quick comparison GIF with images from your previous update yesterday: Basically i just unequip the gloves in the same pose. Without the gloves everything looks 100% correct, with gloves the hands and fingers are already too long. The relaxed hand seems to look alright (even though clearly elongated), while the sword-weilding hand already gets quite "sausage-like". Anyways thanks for looking into this again, and don't see these bug reports as complaints - i guess most people would never notice this, unlike the other issue you already fixed with the UNP feet
