Sanguine Debauchery SE (SD+) (January 2025)

View File

This is the Special Edition / Anniversary Edition version of the mod. The Legendary Edition version is available at this page.

Obedience is freedom.

Sanguine's Debauchery is a mod that subjects the player to enslavement as an alternative to death. Being enslaved by the opponents that defeat you in combat offers the player interesting story tangents and, above all, a continuous narrative in place of death and a reload screen.

SD+ adds a number of new quests, sub-quests, and features that will expand and diversify your game. If you're looking for a mod that allows you new possibilities when you're defeated in combat (more than just "Oh, crap!", Ragdoll, Loading Screen), and especially if you've been looking for a way to have your favorite PC enslaved by all those nasty baddies running around in Skyrim, then Sanguine's Debauchery is the mod for you!

BACKGROUND STORY

Sanguine is an odd and unpredictable fellow. He is one of the few Daedra to be found frequently visiting Tamriel in person. In his wandering the mortal realm, he tends to take an interest in...playthings. The fate of one mortal in particular is irresistible to him. This mortal, this Dragonborn, draws him like a moth to a flame. By retrieving the Dragonborn from the threshold of death, Sanguine is free to apply certain conditions in exchange for his generosity. The Dragonborn as a toy. The Dragonborn an irrestible object of lust? The Dragonborn...a slave? For Sanguine, the possibilities are endless, and the debauchery has just begun.

Requirements are the same as for LE version?

Probably.

But it would be much appreciated @DeepBlueFrog if you could provide them here as well, for convenience.

Shame I'm currently in the middle of playthrough, otherwise I would've installed it right away, now that everything is in one spot.

I installed the mod through Mod Manager and it claims that sanguinesDebauchery.esp is form 43.

Ignore it. This is not an issue.

Moving to SE as the main platform will allow me to fix that one for good.

For now, you can ignore but that warning will go away with the next version.

The new SE download pages are placeholders for now.

I will update the requirements and links to current versions in the coming weeks.

Thanks for letting me know.

With the updates, is this mod a little more stable to use in a playthrough?

I wouldn't go that far, but the update include some important bug fixes with DD NG and some quality of life dialogues to handle some bondage items.

For example, if Sanguine puts on some heels on your character and starts you on heel training with mods like YPS, you now have a way to ask smiths to forge you a new pair of heels if Sanguine takes them away from you.

Do you have any plans to convert all these animations to work with OAR? There is one really good OAR patch for Sanguine I have but I cannot remember where I found it, and sadly it doesnt include every animation from sanguine but it does take care of the majority of them. Anyways I'd love to know thank you.

I'm not wholly opposed to learning how to convert the animations myself—even if I do not know where to start yet—as I do have a decent amount of spare time when I'm not studying.

Maybe eventually... I will have to learn about it more first.

If you discover how to port them over, I will be happy to include that in the mod.

I saw a DAR or OAR mod with crawling and kneeing animations that I am thinking of studying to move these animations over at least.

So far, things about going smoothing with OAR and Pandora though, but I haven't tested everything yet.

Not sure if this is where to ask, but SD+ has no dialogue when enslaved.
"Owner" wants to see me, but I can't do anything with him, it has dialogue options for seemingly other things.

I do have the "Can I go with you" and "Help me get away from my owner" dialogues with other people though.

Attached Papy log where the only thing I did was sleep in the alter bed, game crashes 100% of the time on dreamworld visits.
Trying to go to dreamworld to see if that's causing the lack of dialogue options with owner.
[Separate save file, with no SD owner]

Did you install SexLab Dialogues?

I will add a list of requirements with updated links to the SE download page, but the requirements are similar to what's listed on the LE page.. just with recent SE versions.

I did not, that is probably the problem, I will try it now.
I think I edited the post after you saw it, but would that explain the 100% crashrate on dreamworld visits too?

No.. I think the crash on dreamworld has more to do with an issue with physics/hdt.

There was an issue ages ago with Nvidia drivers for certain cards in that area but I doubt that is still an issue now.

Dialogues, unsurprisingly fixed the dialogue problems, dreamworld is still broken, updated graphics drivers and all that to be sure.
I think it's a me issue though, just can't find out what it is.
I will do a clean loadorder test in a bit to see if it's some sort of conflict, which I'm sure it is.

Okay, sorry to be a bother, but I now have another question.
I keep getting the "Owner disappointed to find you without a collar"
Despite having equipped collars from:
DD expansion
SD+ [Leather and Iron slave]
Dcur slave collar

I have tried poking around in ssedit to see what the conditions are but I can't find it

SDequipdevicebystring failed

Make sure you install DD NG.

Is your player character or owner of a custom race?

I don't see anything in my MCM. I have all of the requirements installed.

because of its quest structure, the recommended way to start SD is to:

- enable the mod

- start the game and wait for all notifications in the top left corner to stop

- save and close the game

- start the game again and wait for all notifications in the top left corner to stop

- MCM should show '1 new menu' after a while (you can try opening and closing the menus with the ESC key to force a refresh)

I am a custom race, I suppose I could just add it to SD through SSedit, right?
I see formIDs for humanoid master races, not sure how the mod checks though
To be safe I added the race to the armour addons and the humanoid masters list

In the latest version, unknown races should get a default set of devices, but that’s probably not wholly tested yet.
