Sidenote: Personally might look into sprays because that seems like it's easy enough to where I might be able to do it.

So is the old method of mods gone forever? I remember reading on previous pages that people were working on a new method that was even easier to do than before, any updates on that?

That's gonna be pretty much impossible now that we can't change her model. Well I guess you could do it for the victory screen and such but you wouldn't see it in game. Best you could do is like make "stickers" of Peni and put them on her mech. It'd be different if she was actually part of the mech model like DVA is in OW but I don't think she's even actually in there. So unless we get model-mesh mods back I don't see it happening. Maybe they could add some sort of mod support that allows you to only play offline or maybe limit it to quickplay or something. That way there'd be no concern of "cheating" using model mods. Though again I think it's kind of bs but okay if they seriously think it's an issue then having mod support in the game but in a way that it limits how you play by not allowing you in ranked matches or not at all in online matches then that'd be a decent middle ground.

I've done something... slightly Psychotic but bear with me here.

I've made a list of every single Spray "used" (replaced) then I put all of them into one file and all the duplicate ones (that replace the same spray) I've assigned to new sprays.

This accomplishes the following:

-All sprays in one pak which I will just keep updating

-I can keep track of which sprays have been replaced (I used Fmodel to check for sprays that exist)

-I can go back and add sprays which I had briefly removed (there's only one it's the black widow one where I preferred the other spray, I haven't done this yet but will)

 

To avoid redundance that means I need to remove the sprays from the UI paks, I will just not right now. I also need to add those from one of the other mods it's called like "scarlett witch and more" or something. There's also some other issue's you'll see in the psychotic text file I made, there were I think 2 sprays that either I messed something up at some point, or they just refuse to work. I will probably fix it... at some point but the magik spray one might be unfixable ngl.

For the mean time here are the list and the pak file with all/most of the sprays:

 

FYI it's a work in progress, if I complete it and maybe add some sprays myself I might upload it to Nexus just don't do it "for me"

You can share the txt file wherever though that was a lot of manual labor and I'll keep updating it but it's just so I can keep track of which spray is which ID number.

 

UPDATED: Added the sprays from "Scarlet witch UI element nsfw and more" also the extra widow spray,  also uploaded a UI version but with none of the sprays to avoid redundant files. Just noticed another one of Magik's spray's is gone it's a mess when it comes to magik they might have update it or something Frozen Demon is gone and now there is however Eldritch Armor but it doesn't show up in Fmodel so I'm unsure what the ID for that one would be. But the next patch is tomorrow so that's probably not worth trying to fix right now...

Correct. Currently the only type of character mods that work essentially take the base model and repaint them. They can currently no longer adjust shape, size, add genitals, or anything more than "painting" the current model. I suspect a workaround will be found, but there's no telling how long it will take. I haven't played the game since the patch, and it's a shame. Been playing pokemon instead.
