Im new at this, how do update an old mod to be compatible with the new patch? already downloaded the discord file

That's gonna be pretty much impossible now that we can't change her model. Well I guess you could do it for the victory screen and such but you wouldn't see it in game. Best you could do is like make "stickers" of Peni and put them on her mech. It'd be different if she was actually part of the mech model like DVA is in OW but I don't think she's even actually in there. So unless we get model-mesh mods back I don't see it happening. Maybe they could add some sort of mod support that allows you to only play offline or maybe limit it to quickplay or something. That way there'd be no concern of "cheating" using model mods. Though again I think it's kind of bs but okay if they seriously think it's an issue then having mod support in the game but in a way that it limits how you play by not allowing you in ranked matches or not at all in online matches then that'd be a decent middle ground.

Older mods needs some unpaking and repacking (or just repacking) and dropping in the ~mods folder

 

sadly some older mods don´t work even with this method like Misberave's "Partially nude Dagger"

 

P.S. I think is better if people refrain from doing video tutorials on the new modding method, perhaps that way the devs woldn't notice so fast that we can mod the game again.

MESHES ARE BACK!

Instructions:  Marvel Rivals - MESH MODS RETURN - Season 1

 

The Peni mod doesn't work, it doesn't reference the mesh properly and will need an update to function.  I've pre-converted a grip of the older mods and they're in the folder on my video above along with the Repack you'll need to make them work if mod authors haven't updated.

 

Partially nude Dagger DOES work.  I'm using it right now.

I also have win screen crashes with Peni mod (the one that make mech thicc and womanly). It also (like other mods I tried) has broken textures on different from base color "skins".
I hope one day someone skilled will fix both Peni skin with a clip in her nipple, and the one with thicc robot.

I updated all of RochesteDorm's models to work with the current method. I haven't played any games to see if they crash at MVP, but they load in at character select and the practice lobby.

Includes:
Dagger
Galacta
Magik
Mantis
Peni
Squirrel Girl

You must go into your Paks folder and remove the "_P" from two files.
Look for "Patch_-Windows_1.1.1573788_P" and "Patch_-Windows_1.1.1599834_P"
Rename them so they look like "Patch_-Windows_1.1.1573788" and "Patch_-Windows_1.1.1599834"

After you do the above step you can install with Vortex or manually place into your ~mods folder.

Wich version of the Dagger mod are you using?, because I've repacked the 3 versions of https://www.patreon.com/posts/dagger-partly-119001474, and all 3 of them don't load the model and crash inmediatly (sitll can look at other heroes though)

could you possibly do more of the nude mods? like the nude invidible women in pink clothes. it got posted the same day the update took it down. I never go to play it. Same guy that made the super hot nude scarlet witch mod also

Both mods you're referring to should work if you use the new repack method, if you're referring to the ones I think you are.

 

Most NSFW mods work. I have been testing them throughout the day, though some do not.

 

The modding team in Discord is still fine tuning the tool used to fix the meshes.

I just learned how to use the repaker. The real heros are the guys who figured out how to get meshes working again and made a tool for us to use.

If you're talking about this mod its by WhitePimpithen here you go:

The pink bikini and the pink nude version, updated for the new method.

You must go into your Paks folder and remove the "_P" from two files.
