This can be as granular as you want, depending on how much effort the artists are willing to put in - I'm not going to dictate how many states there should be, as the scripting part is only a small portion of the work, and I don't want to overload others.

 

But I think the IDEAL states would be:

- Completely clean (this is what we have now)

- Slightly wet (yellow patch at the front)

- Extremely wet (visibly very damp diaper, patterns faded, maybe a soggy butt too)

- Slightly Messy (a visible discolouration at the back

- Extremely Messy (visible mess around the seams between the diaper and the legs, an extremely brown and poofy butt)

- Blowout (diaper just absolutely trashed, top of characters legs covered in muck)

 

The annoying part is that some states (messy and wet, for instance) also need combined versions for being wet AND messy.

 

That's a lot of work though, so we could also deal with just having 1 wet and 1 messy state, and a combined state. This can be as simple or as complex as you'd like. Please feel free to suggest other states or things you think would be cool.

 

Doing simple texture replacements is totally fine, but getting different models with more or less bulging etc would be fantastic.

 

To reiterate, feel free to do as much or as little work as you'd like, having a high level of detail would be fantastic but at the same time this is a kink mod for a videogame, so it's not that important.

 

Currently using auxvars we can track the number of times the diaper has been wet, how many times it's been messed, whether a blowout or leak has happened, and more. So you can probably imagine that whatever is tracked can be used to apply a model or texture change, so feel free to design around that paradigm.

 

One last thing, I think it would be amazing if plastic pants were added to this mod, as I think they fit the theme nicely, and they are one of my favourite things. But feel free to ignore that. I don't know anything about transparent textures, but it would be nice to be able to put these on over diapers and have them visible underneath.
