The hum and bustle around the creation of content is what keeps our smallish but proud community lively and fresh. And yet, in this regard, I feel as if have sinned, since I had begun here as an anonymous lurker back in the times when LL didn't have a proper age gate, and I had been learning how to do 3D modelling to contribute something, only to find that designing how something works has a greater appeal for me than designing how something looks, ultimately leading to me taking up CAD and joining an engineering college instead. Perhaps making a cool and mechanically sound gun for Fallout would be a way I would be able to pay back; alas, I find myself drowning in the workload I already have. What I have left over are notes of ideas on how to improve certain mechanics, some snippets of a story, and an anxiousness that by the time I would be ready to give back, there would not be a community to give back to anymore. I'm quite shy when it comes to talking to people on the Internet but I hope I can overcome that. I'm an experienced developer who's looking to really let myself loose and drop the restrictions I placed on myself in fear of social media and just overall fear of other people. Hope I don't come across as a wimp in saying that but it's how I feel. Regardless, I'm glad a place like this exists and hope I can fit in and potentially provide a helping hand if one is required.

I'm tired of hiding who I am and tippy toeing around people's shit, including my overly religious family run by a pastor who happens to be my uncle and used to be a porn addict but is now an uptight prick. So fuck it, this is me... but just because I'm tired of people's bullshit, doesn't mean I can't or won't be cordial and/or civil. Nice to meet you, everybody. I won't judge you like you guys don't judge each other. My family and friends won't know I'm here and I'm sorry for potential traffic not gained but to be honest, I doubt they'd visit. Quite taboo from where I came from and I'd get my ear chewed off and scolded. You know how it is. I'm just glad I'm not alone, being into the kinky shit and willing to talk about it. I know I've come here in the past for mods and I think I've requested a few things I'd like to se, but I know those who mod and those who come here for mods aren't here to grant me anything. What's important to me is not just the mods, but the people behind the avatars and how they are getting along. Hi, my name is Kevin and I've been playing rpg since the chain mail period, even before the first box set of D&D came out. I used to get into paper and pencil games like D&D, Aftermath, Traveller and I admit that this computer generation simply slipped me by. I wasn't really aware of it, since I was in the military and simply tripped over it via a friend who had a Commodore 64. I fell in love with them then and I still am today. My first real computer rpg was the proving grounds of the mad overlord and fell down through might and magic, past the wizardry series and on into the D&D computer games. God, I feel old.
