Evi1Panda Posted November 28, 2024 Author Posted November 28, 2024 (edited) Guys, I'm not missing, I've been doing a new version of NAF Bridge and NAFicator. It's almost done. A week or so. I can confirm the problem with bad parsing of furniture - solved. I wrote about it to Squirrel, because she has long been interested in this in the context of modifications that she puts out: the fault is unordered map, which is used as a storage container in NAF. It overloads sets of groups with the same id, rather than merging them. This is actually logical and probably correct, but since we have to live in the realities described by Dago, we will have to make it merge. Already done in the upcoming update. Also fixed a couple of bugs, one of them is my own, which could lead to a crash at the beginning and end of the scene. But the cherry on top is the nafikator. I have completely redone it, it works just great. I saw animations that I didn't even know existed before. Now it won't copy all the old xmls, but will collect data from them and make a dozen of its own xml-files. This will finally remove all the confusing pornography of hundreds and thousands of xmls with an idiotic priority system that is just incredibly hard to visualize as a working schema for the average person. In general, wait a bit, it will be a bomb. https://cloud.mail.ru/public/ALVs/724kW4tdj Edited November 28, 2024 by Evi1Panda 6
GenBS Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 (edited) There seems to be an issue with the NAFicator furniture XML conversion. Furniture that can be found in AAF XML cannot be found in XML converted by NAFicator. I looked at the furniture XML converted from NAFicator, and there were a lot of furniture missing. For example, all sleeping bags in Campsite mod are missing. Nothing was written to the NAFicator log. I may have made a mistake, so I checked the following before testing. 1. When I ran NAFicator, NAF folder was empty. 2. There were no errors or warnings about AAF XML in the NAF log. 3. I deleted the NAF cache file before running FO4. I tested it with NAF Bridge 0.900 and NAFicator 0.902. Thank you for making a great mod. Edited December 4, 2024 by GenBS
Evi1Panda Posted December 5, 2024 Author Posted December 5, 2024 (edited) I'll take a look, but beforehand I can say that furniture are checked for presence in the game by formId and source, if not found, but editorId is specified - an attempt is made to find it by it, if nothing is found - furniture are removes from the result. No mark in the log will be displayed. The second possible reason - original xml can't be normalized and read. p.s. oh exuse me, it will be marked in log, but not will be marked as comment in xml file. Edited December 5, 2024 by Evi1Panda
Evi1Panda Posted December 5, 2024 Author Posted December 5, 2024 @GenBS What exactly mod provides these campsite bags as furniture? Please add specifics.
dosfox Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 Hey @Evi1Panda, great to see you back. Thanks a lot for this update. Remarkable work! NAF/Autonomy is working best it ever has, but with two significant problems: 1. In many (at least 1 in 10) animations, female character is invisible and remains invisible after animation has finished. 2. Canines have no genitals. One of the "invisible female" animations is in this log at line 551. aaSUPF4SEDebugPrint_v.902.txt
Evi1Panda Posted December 5, 2024 Author Posted December 5, 2024 (edited) I can say that the startEquipmentSet lines in animation xmls and data from equipmentSet xml-files may be responsible for such things (penis equipping). I can't set it automatically - how do I know if the author of this or that xml wanted the penis to be equipped.... But if it was set in original data it will be moved to result xml. I know if you say that, that means that you got this trouble. I will keep it in mind. Also you shoud know that in my scenes it seems that it works fine. Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler p.s. I know it's a bad angle, but you can't really get a good look at it. Trust me - it's all there)))) Edited December 5, 2024 by Evi1Panda
Evi1Panda Posted December 5, 2024 Author Posted December 5, 2024 I specifically tried to use the original xml files of the mods for AAF, not my patched versions when I made this version of NAFicator. So I have no idea what the difference in the result might be....
Evi1Panda Posted December 5, 2024 Author Posted December 5, 2024 Also it would be interesting if someone else tell how it works or don't.
Evi1Panda Posted December 5, 2024 Author Posted December 5, 2024 (edited) And also, it shouldn't be set in every animation. For those animations that is part of AnimationGroup and Tree Animations it can be set just in first. It is correct when animations from the middle of such sequences are made marked hidden. It should not be called separately. But It can, then it must have startEquipmentSet and stopEquipmentSet specified. Otherwise (the author forgot to hide the animation, which should only be part of the sequence) it may well be that you can run it (and the game can), but the actor will not have an equipped penis. In my animation set, I haven't come across one of these yet. Just my fantasies of “why could that be?” Edited December 5, 2024 by Evi1Panda
Evi1Panda Posted December 5, 2024 Author Posted December 5, 2024 (edited) I see, 1. It should be set in positionData, not in animationData. 2. actually I forgot add isHidden attribute to positionData xml. p.s. Done. Updated to 0.9.0.3 Edited December 5, 2024 by Evi1Panda

Furniture displays correctly when using the original XML instead of the converted XML. (NAF 0.900)
Evi1Panda Posted December 5, 2024 Author Posted December 5, 2024 Okay, got it. Will see what is it today.
Evi1Panda Posted December 5, 2024 Author Posted December 5, 2024 @GenBS So, uh. What we got. 1. This does not apply to NAFicator, because NAFicator does not examine the contents of your Data/NAF folder. 2. I have everything working and this furniture is found and merged correctly with other furniture with id Sleeping_Bag. However, I did release an update that basically just makes the algorithm written more correctly. 3. In addition to having a list of furniture for NAF, you should also make sure you have animations for that furniture. The furniture must be specified as location=“Sleeping_Bag” in positionData. For example, I don't have any solo animations for Sleeping_Bag. However, animations with people and animals run fine. 4. If something doesn't work - update NAF Bridge to 0.901 and manually delete its cache (Data/NAF/_AnimCache.bin, Data/NAF/_XMLCache.bin) or do ReloadConfigData in NAF UI. 1
Evi1Panda Posted December 5, 2024 Author Posted December 5, 2024 It's also worth noting that I only have one animation available for M and W on this furniture. It's just that the animations were not adapted for this furniture. Spoiler

Evi1Panda Posted December 5, 2024 Author Posted December 5, 2024 (edited) Yes, it does nothing ingame. It just produce xmls. So you need to reproduce it. No you neednt delete, if you re just rebuilding. It will be overwrite. Edited December 5, 2024 by Evi1Panda 1

Only the following phrase is written in the Sleeping_Bag group ID of NAFicator furniture XML. <!-- FILE : SavageCabbage_furnitureData.xml --> <group id="Sleeping_Bag"> <furniture form="0xd75bc" source="fallout4.esm" id="NpcBedSleepingBagSleep01"/> <furniture form="0xee9ef" source="fallout4.esm" id="NpcBedSleepingBagSleep01Static"/> <furniture form="0x118f57" source="fallout4.esm" id="WorkshopNpcBedSleepingBagSleep01"/> </group> LadyKiller bed, some vanilla furniture is also missing. 3. There is an one animation related to Campsite furniture in SC animation mod. There are quite a few Ladykiller bed animations. I use the Indarello patch. 4. The furniture XML of NAF XML mod works properly in NAF Bridge 0.901. So now I am only deleting the NAFicator furniture XML and using the rest NAFicator XML . The original, unconverted furniture XML was placed directly in the NAF folder. It works fine. Thank you for the quick reply. Edited December 5, 2024 by GenBS
Evi1Panda Posted December 5, 2024 Author Posted December 5, 2024 (edited) For now I guess you doing something wrong. Because I use Indarello patch, and tried with this mod and Squirrels patch, and it works fine. Also checked with debugger and NAF see all this furniture in result. And also I can invoke scenes on this furniture. From Indarello patch and from squirrel patch both. As I can see it works as intended. If I will find mistake that can provide result as you describe I will let you know. p.s. And you don't need to put Squirrel patch into AAF folder, you can place it directly to NAF folder. Edited December 5, 2024 by Evi1Panda
Evi1Panda Posted December 5, 2024 Author Posted December 5, 2024 @GenBS Oh yeah, I see. It works bad if put this patch inside AAF folder. I will fix it.

Evi1Panda Posted December 5, 2024 Author Posted December 5, 2024 (edited) @GenBS Fixed in 0.904 . Now furniture objects will be merged fine. Edited December 5, 2024 by Evi1Panda 2

dosfox Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 Hey @Evi1Panda, Today i have done 3 complete uninstall/install of AAF/Animations/Patch/NAF/Bridge/Naficator, then testing for a couple of hours each, but still having the problems mentioned above.
